🤘🤘 Yeah! Die Spitz is a reversal of the statement "today's music sucks".... nope. There is some new music that rocks now. This new youth have acquired some great ambassadors of authenticity.
I grew up in the early & mid-80s punk scene in San Antonio so I was into some great Austin bands of that time, as it's only an hour away. One of my favorite bands of all time is The Offenders from Austin. I don't know if there's anyone here familiar enough with The Offenders to tell me if they hear them in this _excellent band_ Die Spitz?! My first exposure to Die Spitz was last year when they played a couple Texas shows with Dead Kennedys _I think_ (I go to _lots_ of concerts so lose track of who opened for who sometimes). I was blown away, they're incredible! Another _really great_ current, Austin punk rock band with a lady playing the microphone is "Niis." Pronounced "nice."
MDC is probably my favorite SA/Austin hardcore band from back then. Never got to see them back in the day as I was born in ‘91. I did get to see MDC with Negative Approach and DRI in San Antonio a few years back (wanna say it was 2019 or so). It was great!
Miss Rubber Gloves. Saw so many acts that became something special come out of there in the 90's-2000's. I'll have to make a plan and vacation to Texas again sometime, I moved to Oregon.
I just subscribed to your channel so I can keep up with all the goings-on, hadn't thought about denton in a long time but greatly enjoyed my time in that city, is mwanza dover still around? yummy's greek restaurant? that dope thai restaurant around fry and hickory? how's the five o clock jazz band? @@animalsmistakenformonsters1492
Hadn't heard of deerhoof, I mainly consume experimental electronic/modular music but love all genres, experimental rap, noise, anything with culture or a hatred for it. :P I czeched Deerhoof out! The drummer seems to try his best to play three times louder than everyone else, it's wild they aren't bothered by it, my number 1 pet peeve as a live artist back in the day. LMAO! Dig their vibe tho! #XoXo!@@animalsmistakenformonsters1492
Skating Polly, Destroy Boys, Grumpster, Starcrawler, Die Spitz - so many really great new punk bands, I love it!
Skating Polly is coming to Gloves soon.

Die Spitz is on my "Must-See Bands" list for 2024! Really hoping for an opportunity to see them soon. Sooo cool, and Ellie's rad!
They're dope. They're going on another tour soon with some rad bands. I forgot who though.

It's a cat
middle singer has good looks/fiesty energy-punk or metal?-the red one has the great looks and gets rowdy-can not believe it
Proper Rockstar,and quite a handful i bet.
As I clicked on this; hesitantly, I said to myself…”impress me” and lo and behold I was let down yet again
Nobody gives a f-ck what you think.
The clamish smell wafts over toward me
Nice classy
Lonely much?
