I love when bands competently swap instruments. It's rare. I've seen Yo La Tengo and Broken Social Scene do it. I'm sure there are others. I love it. I'm old but not as old as some of the people (and human/robot hybrids) in this comment section.
Thought I was going crazy for a minute, as I saw the girl on the drums playing the bass or guitar and doing lead vocals on another performance...I added this comment 3mins into this performance.
As someone born five years from now, it’s great to hear how things were five years ago. The energy here is a lot like what I imagine energy being like 5 years ago!!
i'm a 71 year old rocker and i haven't heard or seen energy like that since the late 60's when i was a fanboy of the mc5 and that detroit raw energy sound...rock on ladies!!!!!
I agree 100% in terms of energy and rawness. I'm really very fascinated as I haven't been for a long time, but I honestly wonder if I would feel it the same if it were 4 guys. Don't get me wrong, but I'm not sure if part of the fascination doesn't also have to do with the hormones. I'm also an old fart over 50 years old and on the one hand we come from a generation that has seen this kind of music grow, partly even helped shape it and on the other hand are We also "only" men who simply open the "heart" when they see 4 young girls who are so „free & easy“ on stage. It's such a mixture of the feeling of wanting to 1) adopt her and 2) you know... Of course, it is irrelevant in principle, the main thing is that the sound is good, but since you both have emphasized your age, I wanted to share my thoughts, because I am also "slightly" older. Whoever might "moderate" this here, I do not mean this post in any way sexist but seriously asked myself this question of how much of the fascination the hormones have.
@@cravecave505 I’m afraid that’s True! 4 guys might not have caught my attention. But attractiveness, energy, and charisma only get you so far. Then it’s all about the music. They hold up on Spotify.
As a 10,000 year old Sumerian magic weaver, I must say the elements of pure raw energy, and utter madness these young sorceresses possess rivals that of the Gods of Ur.
Opened for off in NYC the other nite, these girls made my nite! They are raw and hard and I can't get enough of them right now. Maybe I'm getting old, kids look younger all the time, so these young girls really blew my mind. Incredibly impressive... They have a serious future!
Agreed they sound great!! Side note seen off! at Hawthorne in Oregon and at the old off ramp in Seattle wa!!! Really like circle jerks but I'm a bigger fan of off!
Just found this band and they are just what I needed. I thought that bands like this died in the 90"s but this blows me away. There is hope after all.. The redheads voice is so great and reminds me of the singer from the band Pet and that is hard to do. The first song sounds like it could be Nirvana and thats a good thing.
As a 52 year old Australian Shepherd, I haven’t seen anything like this since that huge CHUD invasion of 76, we had to coral back into the sewers! Awesome fury!
The law of SG continues to be true: If the guitarist has an SG, they're either going to blow you away or embarrass themselves, there is no middle ground. This guitarist ROCKS.
Such an amazing choice to open for Amyl on this current tour... Once again I find music as good as the headliner by the opening band exposure. Keep it up ladies, I treasure those set lists I scored already. Hand written!
I'm a 1 month old baby boy. This reminds me of the time in my mothers womb when i over heard a conversation between her and my prick father about an abortion. Keep on rocking ladies!
this is pretty cool. myself, a 346 year old robot-human hybrid sending you this message from the future of the year 2783, I just gotta say, you don't hear stuff like this anymore
im starting to become a serious fan! and I agree.. if they are anywhere near europe, anywhere near the netherlands. please do..I wanna see/hear them LIVE!
I saw these ladies open up for OFF! Last year in Philly. They were quite good and they were super cool and dedicated to their expression of their art. Bassist twisted her ankle and played and jumped around in a cast. Respect from the East Coast.
This came up randomly. They seem like the real deal & mixing up various places/playing/vocals is excellent & cool. Other comment said they're touring with OFF so that's awesome for them, gogo gogo

Interesting! That’s true.
Freakin great tone on the SG !
It's either a featherweight power tool or or it is too much guitar for the player.
The SG has the best tone in my opinion, and not just because I own one. It’s the reason I own one, other than looking badass.
