Thanks for sharing a little about both of your backgrounds and your careers and how you got to doing the traveling and wheeling thing a lot. I'm looking forward to watching your videos and catching up from March of 2020 to the current time in late May 2022. It's time for the Crawler Hauler video next. Love your content!
Jeep Gear & Gadgets thank you mr!!! It’s fun when we get on here together! Hoping to get his pretty face on here more 🥰 We are missing you guys too! Hopefully we can see each other soon 🙌🏻
I didn't know this video existed. Answers a lot of questions I had floating around in my head. I thought you two were crazy but after watching you seem like a great folks and normal. I wish you all the best and hope to have a beer with you guys one day. Or two.
I’m a little late to watching this video. Was going to watch the second one but had to catch this one first. Definitely inspiring. You two are awesome people. Thanks for this.
You guys are an amazing couple. My wife is the reason we both have Jeeps. Women Jeepers are awesome. I can't wait to see you guys on the trail someday. San Diego will always open its doors for you, we have a strong Jeep community here. Best of luck to you guys. Thanks for the great content. Cheers!
You two are so precious, open and honest. Refreshing in this day and time. I really enjoyed learning more of the details on how you got on your path of happiness and out of the "Normal and expected" grind. I can't wait to learn more from you.
What a lovely soft spoken couple, you have no idea how appealing you are to this ol' fart. A hundred years ago when I was young I used to build mud drag trucks before shifting to trail rides. All along I have ridden my motorcycles and am back to that solely. While teaching my soldiers to wrench and be self reliable we built my last truck. Being in Alaska and Georgia meant different muds and some rock but the road rules for a daily driver, drove most of my build decisions. I believe every one around vehicles needs to learn more then basic wrenching. Go to the small shop professionals to support local businesses but always learn what is happening. This was my second video of yours to watch and I'll check in on your antics often even though I do not wheel myself anymore. Tread lightly has always been my objective and I would love to help trail and offroad area maintenance where and when I can. No idea that he’s that tall , He really loves you to get in the jeep and ride the trails. I totally understand why you only have two seats to give y’all the room
Hollie and Walter, you guys are such an inspiration to anyone looking to break the “norm” and follow your passion! Really nice to see Walter just with you and chatting about your journey. It’s so evident how much he loves you buy the things he’s done for you! I’m from NY, lived in Long Island for 4yrs and worked in the UK for a bit as a bank executive and wish I would have left earlier and done what you guys are doing. Still trying to convince my wife to move out west so I can wheel daily. Keep it up guys!
Love the Q&A! Love the story of how it all came to be. We've been on the road since 2013, traveling around, have a bunch of jeep friends, and big truck (converted semi's hauling the huge 5th wheels and toy haulers) friends. Love the analogy of Never shop on an empty stomach... never shop for your build of XYZ.... when its broke!
Love watching Holly wheel. She is amazing, but so glad Walter is in the Video. He completes this channel. He is the glue that completes you Holly in this channel. Keep it up. Love these videos.
Hard Truth thanks for the feedback! We definitely try and be a team. My main focus in all of this was to find a lifestyle that allowed us to spend time together and the Jeep has been a great way to accomplish that! 😀
New sub here. I fell backwards into this interest through Jailbreak Overlander, Roy Irish, Matt's Off Road Recovery channels. Candidly, I didn't know I had any interest at all until I spent some downtime acquainting myself. Although I live in Colorado, I knew almost nothing about the wheeling community. Jeeps and crawlers seem to be everywhere around me, stored in people's front yards, sitting on trailers. Anywhoooo... I'm attempting to get to know you and your chronology. If you could give a pointer or two, that would be tremendous!
Holly and Walter I think you two are very nice people. I am retired and in my seventy’s I live the Pacific Northwest state of Oregon. What I want say is in 80’s where I live we would go the sand drags race’s and there was the lady that raced her 1949 flat fender Willys jeep. It was one fast jeep. The name on her jeep was the Mischiefmaker. Nice to meet you Walter you take care of Holly and yourself. Loved the video. Yes Utah is a beautiful state. Love Matt,Paul,Robby and Ed.
Awesome q&a. I say it all the time I do not know how people get together and don't enjoy spending time together. There's no one else I'd want to hang out with more than my wife. If you've got that you'll always be fine with wherever life takes you.
Truly a brand spankin new subscriber to the channel, and so this was a great find for me to learn the background of you both. Holy smokes 6"10 frame in a little jeep, Walter, how did you walk after that?
When I see your Jeep with its NY plate and you’ve mentioned a few times having lived on Long Island - my home town is Northport - many yrs ago! I surely enjoy your adventures!!
I recently discovered you through Matt's channel and am enjoying getting to know you. Watching the trailer video next! Walter seems like a great person, and you both remind me of my husband and I in your priorities and wanting more time to spend together. What is life for, otherwise? We go everywhere with our travel trailer and recently picked up a slide-in camper for our truck and are planning a trip to southern Utah with it this fall. Can't wait!
Went back and watched some older vids and came into this one. It's inspiring, you're doing exactly what I would love to do. Do you have a video breaking down your overall build cost?
When I retired 14 yrs ago at age 55, I told my wife I wanted to buy a Jeep and go check out some trails in Colorado. Well, that Wrangler Rubicon is gone after traveling from Ky to Az, Ut, Co Montana etc etc etc and we now have a JL on 37’s. We were able to get to Moab and Ouray when the JL was new and stock but not been able to get back for a couple of years. Still so many places we want to check out with our Jeep like Sand Hollow. Not really into the real hard core wheeling but do like some challenges. Maybe we’ll see you on the trail one of these days.
Great story about changing your life. Wife and I are in the works of changing our lives too. We have a longer timeline, kids need to go to college first, but very inspiring to hear your story! Thank you for sharing.
Much needed video. Thanks! Wishing you two the best in your future adventure! Do a detailed video on the hauler, truck and Jeep, a real thorough one. Men love details! Good luck!
Ri Le yes! I’m with you on that one. The Ford F-350 we currently have IS my dream truck. I could spend 30 minutes just talking about that bad boy and I really can’t wait for our first long-haul trip with it and the Krawler Hauler 😎
Great Job guy's!! Love what you are doing and Jealous!! I am the president of South East Jeeps and we just got back from our first time out west to AZ and Moab just prior to the COVID mess shutting everything down and OH MY GOD!! I'm not sure where this mess is going to leave everyone and the economy in the future, but the plan is next year to head to the St. George Sand Hollow are for a few days then over to Moab again. You have a ton of friends and followers here in the South FL area. We don't have much off roading but if you are ever in the SoFlo area I would love to put together a big event at one of our local Off Road Parks and have jeepers come out and do a meet and greet with the Jeepers and you can tell them all about Mischief Maker and the RockStar team! Be Safe and keep doing what you are doing! Love it!
Just stumbled on this video which satisfied the curiosity. Pretty cool story! It fun to hear how different people get into wheeling and especially at your level.
I think I moved right down the street from you. What a small world. Seen your Jeep out front today at what I can only assume is your house. Hey new neighbors!
What an awesome story! I Love this video! Holly you are amazing for just going out and putting yourself full speed into something you love to do! I also bought my first Jeep recently and dove into it full speed. Got Tons and 40s going on at the end of this month and am enjoying life like never before! Your husband's support is much like my amazing wife's. You are the man, Walter. Hope to run into you guys one day!
Excited to see Walter, finally! Had to say to myself, I see why you were attracted to him. Articulate, easy going and very interesting guy who is just your size! I “Had Not A Scooby Do” as to who Walter why might be, glad to find out!!! Hope to meet you all sometime!! Congratulations on getting together!!!
Great icebreaker, loved all the answers. It is great to see you both in the videos as a team/couple. Walter, so very cool that you are there for your wife's passion and not just telling her "No this is stupid it's a hobby and nothing more". Kudos for you. Your video are top notch and only getting better. Keep up the excellent work and I am looking forward to watching the next one and the one after that and so on. Hollie, maybe a video that is more about the Women Wheelers to get a broader audience and make the subscribe numbers grow.. You guys could do a meet up with wheeling and video recording so that other couples can learn how to make great off road videos.
Hey Todd, we are definitely going to do an in-depth discussion on Women Wheelers. And event announcements are coming as soon as we get a handle on all this Coronavirus craziness 😀
I first saw you on Lite Brite's channel and I was immediately impressed with your jeep and your driving skills. Your rig is one of the best I've seen. Loved hearing you two talk about your experiences and as a new subscriber, I will be following you in the future. Good luck with your journey.
You two are awesome!! Learning and supporting each other. I know how you felt seeing that Grand Cherokee, my jku got totaled last October and I needed another vehicle ASAP. I ended up with a 15 wku. Lol it’s what I needed but definitely not what I wanted because I have to travel for work. Thanks for the Q&A.
It's just so crazy how many people from the vicinity have the same story. Random Jeep meet, someone that knows a guy if you need work done...enter Leo & TNT. Get invited to go to Rausch but don't want to be that guy/gal that doesn't have a clue, stage left...Nora4x4. Which is where everyone that steps foot on that facility has that, "epiphany, I have seen the light, this is what this Jeep thing is about" moment. Catch the bug. Go to Rausch and come to the realization that your rig ain't sh*t and right back at TNT going HAM because now you're All In and Jeep life has consumed you...and the rest is history.
Basically! That is the best part. The story isn’t THAT unique. And even when the story is completely different the shared passion for Jeeping is all that really matters! 😁
Great story for those who want to take a leap of faith to do something you truly enjoy. Thanks for the video and blessings to y’all on your adventures.
Awesome story ! I love seeing people chasing their passion. I'm currently working on a couple jeeps . 90 yj mildly modified 4.2 & 95 yj with 454 Chevy. Also have 03 Rubicon I keep in Florida for when I'm down there. Keep up the good work !
Thank you for doing the Q&A this actually answered a few questions that I was wondering about. Plus it gives us a little bit more of an inside look on the both of you. Definitely interested in hearing your rockstar status. I was not aware that was a thing let us know more about it.
Erick Illg the questions have been racking up so it was about time we did this. We are hoping to do Q&a’ more often. It’s a good thing we started our daily vlog because we have so much to cover 🙃 Thank you for being a subscriber 🤘🏻
Great video! Love hearing the backstory and getting to know Walt better. Always like to see the spouse, they are usually great people and their support is vital to our enjoyment of this Jeeping craziness. 💜💜 I learned not to spot my wife...🤣🤣
Great video you two!!! Didn’t you make a debut on Lite Brite’s channel saying you’re selling everything and wheeling full time? I think that was my 1st exposure to you and Walter ❤️🐞
To be fair a lot of the throw back colors that Jeep comes out with and the retro models such as the Chief NEVER look good except in person! I hated the Chief color when trying to find my 2017 Freedom. But I seen a few Chief models in person with the white top and a few other Wrangler trims in the color Chief and they looked way better in person. Walter has the same issues as my husband going long distances in the Jeep with cramped space! My husband was looking at a Wrangler for himself or a Gladiator before pulling the trigger on a Power Wagon. You guys are amazing! We can only hope to run into you guys off road somewhere! But we go to SMORR religiously at this time. Once the Power Wagon is set up more for overlanding, we get the fusion axles on the Jeep, & it can drive itself more reliably then we will be able to go further distances more.
Finally someone who understands the first hate of the chief color 🤣 you just made my day because people think I'm crazy 🤘🏻 We've definitely tried to make the Jeep comfortable for him but you can o oh do so much with the space given and I think we've done a good job! You'll find a way 😀 Well I really hope our paths cross on the trails at some point! Would be so awesome to meet ya and wheel with you guys for sure 🤪
@@MischiefMakerTV HA HA, you are definitely not crazy! it took me a few trips to a local dealer for the Chief Blue to grow on me! We are trying to plan a trip to Moab next year. We have a few other Jeepers, peeps with Can-AM Mavericks, some friends with a Toyota, & peeps with a Kawasaki Teryx. It is a lot to plan & then a lot to get everyone out there without breaking the bank. I will keep my finger crossed we do cross paths and can wheel together. Will be an awesome time!
Uh-oh... so it turns out that I may have been unknowingly following y’all’s footprints. I live on LI. My intro to the Jeep lifestyle was through watching Kevin and Brittany of Lite Brite. Bought my first Jeep, a 2020 JLRUD, Joined Long Island Off Road late last year. Going to NORA for my first training this spring... Stay tuned... 🤣 But seriously, any recommendations for which course(s) at NORA to take?
I also love Utah my wife and I stayed at a RV park in Leads and visited Hurricane but we did not have our LJ with us but we will be back there for sure.
I love seeing Walt on the videos too. Its good to see you both on screen. I laughed so hard when i saw Walt say never spot your wife on trail to sema i think from memory
Hollie where in the UK 🇬🇧 are you from I've not long joined i saw you on Matt's Off Road Recovery video's I'm in the UK from Worcester in the West Midlands i had a disco 300tdi off roader & loved it loving the truck & the vids keep it up 👌🏽👌🏽👍🏽🇬🇧🇬🇧
@@walterfowler4720 I sent a DM to IG. I figured that might have helped you guys do this video. I'm really looking forward to the video of what Rockstar harage is and what an ambassador does.
Marc DiLeo hi Marc, Hollie did mention a few DMs had come in and that certainly did help prompt this video. We spoke to the owner of Rockstar Performance Garage yesterday about doing an interview. Shouldn’t be too long of a wait and will be a great discussion! 👍🏾
I really enjoyed finding out about you and Walter in this video. I've been following along with your vids for sometime now. Keep up the fun and good work!!
And then Matt asked me to spot him for the Wreaker rodeo. Love you two. Thanks for posting.
Ya , St. George Hurricane needs you guys for sure, I agree it is the place to be, and we need more folks like you guys around
Loved seeing both you and Walter in front of the camera, such an AWESOME couple. Keep the videos coming!! Miss you guys!!
Jeep Gear & Gadgets thank you mr!!! It’s fun when we get on here together! Hoping to get his pretty face on here more 🥰 We are missing you guys too! Hopefully we can see each other soon 🙌🏻

Basically! That is the best part. The story isn’t THAT unique. And even when the story is completely different the shared passion for Jeeping is all that really matters! 😁
My wife loves her Chief Blue Sahara, it's her pride and joy. Did you pick the name Mischief as a play on the color?
Great story for those who want to take a leap of faith to do something you truly enjoy. Thanks for the video and blessings to y’all on your adventures.
Thank you so much for tuning in!!! Hope you have a great weekend 💙
Awesome story ! I love seeing people chasing their passion. I'm currently working on a couple jeeps . 90 yj mildly modified 4.2 & 95 yj with 454 Chevy. Also have 03 Rubicon I keep in Florida for when I'm down there. Keep up the good work !
Now those sound like awesome projects!! Hope you're having fun with those. Thank you for watching 🤘🏻
That was very interesting way to get started. Great 👍 video
MARK PERRITTE thank you and thank you so much for watching! We hope you are enjoying the channel
Thanks for sharing! Really enjoying the daily vlog.
What a great couple you make you complement each other so much. What a great guy Walter is all 6' 10" of him 😱😉😄👍
thanks for sharing!
Great stuff1 You guys are inspiring! Ayuh, do what makes you smile with the one you like to show that smile to... Right on! Ride on!
Thank you!
It’s a good thing we started our daily vlog because we have so much to cover 🙃
Thank you for being a subscriber 🤘🏻
I love the video!! Great info about you guys!! Feel like I know you better.
Great video! Love hearing the backstory and getting to know Walt better. Always like to see the spouse, they are usually great people and their support is vital to our enjoyment of this Jeeping craziness. 💜💜 I learned not to spot my wife...🤣🤣
What an awesome couple! I look forward to following you guys on your next adventure.
thank you so much for following along! Your support means the world to us! :-)
Great video you two!!! Didn’t you make a debut on Lite Brite’s channel saying you’re selling everything and wheeling full time?
I think that was my 1st exposure to you and Walter ❤️🐞
Thoroughly enjoyed this! Thanks for a great video!!
Thank you, Bob! I’m so glad you enjoyed it 😀🙌🏻
Hi 👋 absolutely love you two 😀 what a great story ................😃 Walter is 6,10 no wonder you make them wheels look small 🙌🙌🙌
Metaldogrides yeah, it’s definitely a bit easier for me than Hol! 😅
Y'all are the cutest.
Love this. Cant wait for more
kyle balcerzak well, let us know if you have any other questions. So glad you liked the video 😀
great video, love how brave you two are for living life. look forward to seeing more videos.
Thank you. It has been great so far. Can’t wait to get back on the road and take you guys with us!
Finally someone who understands the first hate of the chief color 🤣 you just made my day because people think I'm crazy 🤘🏻
We've definitely tried to make the Jeep comfortable for him but you can o oh do so much with the space given and I think we've done a good job! You'll find a way 😀
Well I really hope our paths cross on the trails at some point!
You guys are adorable! I am really enjoying your channel!
Great job guys! Thx for sharing 😄
Uh-oh... so it turns out that I may have been unknowingly following y’all’s footprints.
I live on LI. My intro to the Jeep lifestyle was through watching Kevin and Brittany of Lite Brite. Bought my first Jeep, a 2020 JLRUD, Joined Long Island Off Road late last year. Going to NORA for my first training this spring...
Stay tuned...
🤣
But seriously, any recommendations for which course(s) at NORA to take?
You guys are so fricken cool 😎. Walter needs to be in all the videos with Holly and the Mischief Maker👍.
I agree, he is usually my videographer (cause he does not like being in the passenger seat for obstacles)
I also love Utah my wife and I stayed at a RV park in Leads and visited Hurricane but we did not have our LJ with us but we will be back there for sure.
Hurricane is the perfect place for your rig!
I love seeing Walt on the videos too. Its good to see you both on screen. I laughed so hard when i saw Walt say never spot your wife on trail to sema i think from memory
🤣...yeah, he swears by that rule & so far it has been very helpful.
@@MischiefMakerTV hope to see more of him on the channel.
Super cool to hear your story! Keep it up 👍🏻

Marc DiLeo 😀 we cant wait to sit down and do another episode like this! We appreciate you watching the channel
Marc DiLeo glad you found the Q&A helpful. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to ask. 👍🏾
Thank you so much Gary and thank you so much for watching the channel!
Loved learning about you guys. I just started following you and had no idea what your history was. Take care
