Thanks for the review on the Tunland. I have one and find it the best value for money of any dual cab I have owned. Downside, being so new to the market extremely difficult to get aftermarket products.

Hey guys, we don't need to know about shiny paint and chrome. Quality of finished product matters more. Along with genuine appraisal of performance and after sales service. Thanks

guys I love your reviews but why don't you have 720p or 1080p videos?

We had a bit of a problem with our encoding and TH-cam which dropped out HD content to 480p :(
The next season (which is currently on TV) will be HD once again!

+Ansett76. well it true the Tata Xenon is 90% cheaper then the Volkswagen Amarok but the Volkswagen Amarok still the best Offroad vehicle in the world to me

This comparison minimizes the Chinese truck because that truck comes with a cummins engine that is heavy duty with 150 Kw and 360 Nm ... and on the highway it yields up to 750 km.

It will help if you have motor experts do the comments on the cars you test....

When all these other cars are long dead from bits and pieces going wrong and being too old to repair, engine wise, the Cummins will still be going and going

People that buy Amaroks are the same people that wear masks when in the car all alone, it's such a stupid vehicle.

I'm not completely agree with the things you said about the Amarok...
May be it is not so bad when you spend several thousand for automatic gearbox but with manual this engine is quite awful - this engine has very short usable rev range.
The second thing, may be the more important one - I would never trust VW reliability! I rather take the Chines, they usually use licensed old generation technique from reliable manufacturers.

You would rather Chinese made than German technology?? You would be the only person in the world with this opinion..There are so many examples of golfs and beetles etc etc that have passed the million kilometer mark around the world that their reliability is proven whether you choose to accept it or not. The current examples of chinese made cars have extremely poor quality control and metallurgy not to mention flawed designs in an attempt to slightly disguise their obvious breach of copyright and design theft of well known models. I would not trust my life or my family's lives in one.

deathrow83 You talk for Golf II probably and the original beetle - this is different story. Modern VW is quite a shit - personal opinion with Golf V and Tiguan. Yes they are good comfy user friendly cars... but not reliable - not at all. But any one have the right to think other way round...

benzfen Your opinion, is just that, your opinion. My problem with your opinion is that you wrote it as if it is fact: "Yes they are good comfy user friendly cars... but not reliable - not at all." It is ok if this is your opinion, but stating "not at all" is simply bull.
I know many people with VW's, modern ones, later than 2005, who has done more than 200 000km trouble free.
I've owned 3 VW in the last 15 years all 3 has done more than 220000km with me and I sold one to brother. He has done more than 200000km with it, again, trouble free! Current odo reading is 447308km and still going. It is a 1.9Tdi Jetta. Look after your vehicle, and it will look after you....
Please don't say some motor manufacturers re crap or "shit" as you put it, if this is not based on fact. all cars can brake and can have serious problems, that does not make them all unreliable or "shit"

    • @BenzinioB
      @BenzinioB 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Paul de Beer Mr. De Beer... call me when VW take place in top 5 or even top 10 reliable cars ;) So yes it is fact - there are some statistic proving my point.
The bloody Tiguan spend more time in the VW service then in my garage however Yes this is my opinion and I did not see where I undertake someone to share it.
And again yes any car can break but some does it often. I'm driving Opel now just under 300 k on it and just regular maintenance... much better but underrated! Guess what will be my next car :)
And finally speaking for the car in that particular review there is still the issue with the limited usable rev range... and I bet this will be one of the last choice of any overland expedition...

Enough spouting random bullshit. Statistics done by who? Where can I find them? etc etc Just because you write it on the internet doesn't make it true..
I have owned both cars you mentioned and also funnily enough an Opel astra, guess which one gave me problems? The Opel.
My golf 5 tdi 4motion was a fantastic car, it had over 120 000kms and never had one single problem until a drunk driver crashed into it. My Tiguan Tdi has 50 000kms of trouble free motoring behind it and I see no reason why this wont continue. My wife also had a Passat Tdi with more than 110 000kms before we traded it on a new model without any problems. So for you to say that VW's reliability is shit is completely unfounded and incorrect.
In regards to the Amarok having a narrow torque range...maybe you just dont know how to drive a diesel..
