Flashback! My neighbor was bouncing by on his Briggs & Stratton mini bike and hit a boulder. The seat fell off and he sat down on the spark plug, which zapped his nuts. Then he crashed. Badly. Snot blew out of my nose as I tried to suppress laughter while helping him up.

This reminds me of the kids with hardware store mini bikes with lawnmower engines riding with the kids who had Honda 50 & 70 Mini bikes. They suffered along with no suspension, no gears, and less power. But they hung in there.

We are a year later after this video being made there are disc brakes available there are 500 watt Motors available and LiPO batteries. This is still a better deal than $4,000 for a 73 which is just so unreasonable

That bike is brilliant for what it is, good review Dude I'd put a midrive motor on it something like a bafang ultra with a SW 900 controller and use a 60v battery she'd fly with that I'm sure it's like a mini me super 73 ha ha
Totally agree. It doesn't have a chain, so you'd have to rig something up with a chain and sprockets.
Maybe a 1000w hub rear with the same controller maybe a 52v 30 ah battery it would move real quick

super 73 is just stupid for it's price. Do a little upgrade on the rambler such as a 48v 12ah battery mod with a 60v controller and you will be WAY faster and more torque then the 73 for $900 in total bike and upgrade included

I'm curious. I'm not understanding why the weight limit for a steel frame bike, is so low. Steel frames are supposed to hold a higher weigh capacity than an aluminum frame bike. Yet all the steel frame bikes I'm finding always gives a lower weight limit than the aluminum frame bikes are giving. It makes no sense to me at all! 🤔🤷♀️

The weight limit is for the powertrain, not the frame. So, a heavier steel frame adds weight for the powertrain to push, which lowers rider weight capacity.

I bought this because it reminded me of the electric version of the of the gas dirt bike version I had when I was a kid. But it died after a few months of very limited use and loses power even when it's fully charged so now it's dead in the water! Would have been great I love the design but razor is very low quality and I've had multiple electric scooters die from them. So I should have known better

The parts look good I want to buy one and switch it to gas, not sure what motor would fit because the frame is narrow at the bottom.
Very good review and test run. You said the battery can be changed out. Is the battery similar to an ATV battery or motorcycle battery? Or is it more like a car battery or power tool battery? Would like to see under the hood.
I didn't crack it open. I actually gave it to a friend and he rigged up a lithium battery on it.

I gave the bike to my friend for his daughter to ride. As much as I'd love to upgrade it to go 50, I don't think an 11 year old should have that much power. haha

I just realized that this uses a very similar frame design to my Voro Motors Roadrunner! Very interesting for the price point, and probably would make great bones for a custom ride

We got about 11 miles which is just under 18km
Guys I have a problem my battery of my zx is dead and the super73 support said that they have no battery for my bike so I just ordered a new battery with the same mount plate like the original one but it's a 48v 21.5ah and the original is 48v 12.8ah now the ting is that it fits perfectly the system on the display works and I can connect it to the app but the motor isn't working because the display says it has 0% but the battery is fully charged I think maybe it's to strong for the display and I only need to remove it or is it just not working... or do I need a battery with a similar capacity..? I'm grateful for any help 🙏🏼
As far as I know, the S23 batteries have the mechanism that runs the system, so any old battery won't work, unfortunately. Your ZX Battery should be under warranty. I am sure you don't want to wait for them to send you a new one, so I would work with them to send you a new bike outright.

The thing is I been texting calling and working with dem for weeks i tried everything I can do with te costum team but the problem is that I got no more warranty because I installed a Amazon throttle and not the original kit and then they said that they look out for a battery for me I'm at a point rn I would buy one but the end of the story was that they have no battery and they can't help me only thing they said when they got one they contact me but also he said he don't know if or when they get one... only option now is to let repair the original one or what do you think is even this not working?

I bought one of these. It was a joke... It went back to the store the next day. Incredibly small and underpowered. Not built for anyone over 5'7". Razor makes toys for kids. This is nothing more than a power wheels toy with rubber tires. It's junk.
