Nice to see a well-made 3rd-world moto-manufacturer like this. Too bad they sold out- who knows, with Euro-emissions it's got to be tough to comply and compete there.
@@tonn333 I don’t recall but that would be good information now that see they still make that model. I do know that it didn’t change much for several years.
@ probably a bit earlier than that. I bet it’s pretty much the same. I’m going to do some research later and update the videos I made on this bike with the applicable years
Nice looks like a nicely made engine I heard huskevarna bought Gas Gas and think bmw owned or own them Looks like the cranks got life in it yet and the bore perhaps new main brgs piston small end and rings there was a guy here in NewZealand getting his MX pistons coated with a moly based product said it made them last a lot longer I think quite a no of manufacturers r doing that now
Thanks for taking your time to show the process
Greetings from Spain 🇪🇦

This engine was a pleasure to work on, everything was straightforward and made sense. Thanks for watching all the way from Spain!
Man, I'd say he dodged a major bullet there. He's recruited the right man for the job!...PBR TIME!😁👍
We were happy to find the problem wasn’t catastrophic…he really loves that bike! It’s always PBR time after the job is complete. Or before. Or during.
Awesome thanks man great video I got one to break down thanks
This engine was very well designed, easy to work on. My buddy said it’s running strong.

The KTM world is just eating up a lot of those manufacturers. I’m surprised Beta is doing so well.
Where do you get your parts from for the ec250/300 of this year I’ve had a heck of a time trying to find all the parts for a refresh.
My buddy had a place where he got the parts, I can’t remember but they were pretty quick and has everything.
What model year engine is it?

@TomsTinkeringandAdventures But if you had to guess? I have a 2011 myself...

KTM owns them now. Everything ended up looking good, bearings, seals and piston will be replaced. Thanks for watching.
