Just purchased a Nespresso Vertuo after watching majority of your videos. I was able to purchase from Macy’s on a sale. I am so excited creating a coffee bar in my office. Going from a Keurig. Cape Town is nutty and a little strong. I complement it with hazelnut creamer. One of my favorites. Stockholm is good coffee too as a latte.

Thank you so much for your video! Question when you place an order through Nespresso, the samples that they send you are they the same as what you place or do they send you samples that go with other machines because that would be very unfortunate because we wouldn’t be able to use it.
You get to choose the line of whatever machine you have but the samples are set to whatever they are offering and you can choose between 2 choices usually

All those vertuo decafs- fortado, altissio, melozio, are super good!!! I go through the altissio ones faster than anything else, hehe. I'm super sensitive to caffeine (plus, anxiety) but still love coffee so I do a lot of decaf. In the winter I tend to work up a tolerance and can do one mug size in the morning but anything after like 11am has to be decaf lol. I really enjoy your videos and have been following you on IG. Loving how genuine you are :-)

@@_Alexmojica I love it black. But it makes a beautiful larger flat white. So I remove the ring whisk thing from the frother (same as yours) and whisk the milk that way and then brew the coffee over top of it. I’m not a lover of sweet hot coffee so I haven’t had it with any syrup or sugar.

I’ve been wanting to get the Nicaragua but I have a Vertuo. Do you recommend anything similar in Vertuo?
The title had me cracking up. My order has been pending pick up for days. I got the advent calendar since it was on sale for $30.
I don’t know if they Rea anything similar to Nicaragua in vertuo, I’d say maybe orafio would be closest
I put myself on a coffee no buy at the beginning of November (for at least a few months) after I did my pod inventory (I'm almost embarrassed with the amount of pods I had). Here in Canada we have to order at least 100$ to get free shipping, I wanted to try all the new pods and they were putting new pods out every 2-3 weeks in the fall, so I ended up with a lot of pods hahaha. It's a good thing I only have the Vertuo machine lol

I recently purchased the Nespresso Vertuo Plus Deluxe machine after being a Keurig user for MANY years. I am not an expresso drinker so I prefer the larger cups of coffee. I think the adjustment for me has been the amount you get from a kcup vs a capsule. I prefer a lot of coffee in a cup and I feel like I dont get enough from the 7.7 oz capsule. I have been glued to your channel since my purchase trying to learn everything I can. Can you offer some suggestions to a former kcup drinker on getting adjusted to Nespresso?
They used to have alto pods that gave 14oz of coffee but they discontinued them. I heard they might bring one back but not completely sure. I don’t know what to suggest other than using two pods at once ☹️ (brewing one pod twice might give a weaker second brew)
@@_Alexmojica - thank you I am so new to the Nespresso world, I didnt even know you could brew the pod twice LOL. I may give it a shot! I feel like I am drinking WAYYYY more coffee with Nespresso than I did with keurig because I am using multiple pods trying to get a large mug and I dont want to increase the caffeine too much :)
@@kellyjohnston2977 heat up some milk to add to your coffee to make it a larger amount! I was a keurig user and this was my fix for that problem. Go for the stronger capsules so that the milk doesn’t take from the coffee intensity :) Also, once I’m done brewing a capsule, I press the button again to top me off. Press the button once more to stop the brew. You don’t want to brew it a second time fully because it’ll water it down.

Hi Alex, when I recycle my pods I’ve noticed white mold in the bag.. have you experienced that before?
I’ve never had that issue, I was reading online through a google search that sometimes using an airtight container will help reduce that. They will still take the pods either way but if you want to reduce that I would use a container to store the used pods while you fill the bag. I use a nespresso recycling bin they sell on their site under accessories
@@_Alexmojica I do have their container, I don’t know why mine is doing it… when I saw I was about to 🤢. I may have to just put the container in the fridge lol.
This happened to mine because I kept them on the dryer and they got warm, I think they need to be stored in a cool dark place!!
This happened to me but I never got charged for the second order.I ordered and never received a tracking # or confirmation email for two days. I called and twice and the second person said he would cancel my initial order and threw in an extra sleeve when he remade the order bcuz I was suppose to pick up the first order but now I wanted it to ship to me. I finally received a confirmation for the first order I made myself and then went on my acct to see both orders were there but I didn’t get a confirmation for the second order the rep made so I was thinking it would cancel eventually, but that one shipped as well. By the time I turned around I received my initial order at the pick up location and came home to the second order the rep made. I ended up with 15 sleeves and 2 free samples, I ended up sharing with my cuzin who got me hook on Nespresso in the first place.

I tried Puerto Rico for the first time today. It was very good with 1 tbsp of Monin Spiced Brown Sugar syrup and 4 oz of frothed milk :) Peppermint Pinwheel is delicious with white chocolate mocha sauce.
