Overload, Electro-Charged, Swirl and Superconduct all scale exclusively on 2 things: The character who triggers the reaction's Level and their Elemental Mastery. None of them ignore enemy defense, or their resistances for that matter. None of them can Crit. None of them use the character's Elemental damages bonuses either. Overload does an AOE pyro dmg attack and knocks back enemies. Electro charged does 2 instances of electro damage and can spread to nearby Hydro infused enemies. Superconduct does AOE cryo damage and reduces the enemy's physical resist by 40%. He couldn't be more wrong, in fact.
I got kokomi while impulse pulling and tried her with ayaka, bennett was never back in my team ever since both their playstyles are so fun and with them together the freeze comp is so fun :D
Omg yes and just by giving Kokomi TTDS and Tenacity, Ayaka's damage goes haywire. Ok I may be exaggerating it but I just wanna say that Kokomi and Ayaka tandem is very good
Same, I have Zhongli and Kokomi. So no matter what kind of enemy, be it the new enemies who will ignore shield. I'm so gonna survive. Also, I can do Azdaha and Childe without Zhongli and without having any of my members die. So this Zhongli mains can't dodge myth is so funny to me for those who don't have him and actually believed that myth.
Ayaka + Raiden + Kokomi is just so good I use either Zhongli to have a shield or Kazuha to make sure every opponent gets hit by both Kokomi and Ayaka's elementary skill. Permafreeze go
because i liked kazuha, yanfei and ayaka so much... i replaced zhongli with kokomi. dont need shield if i can heal a full grown Zhongli without even attacking~
some people are so obsessed with the negative crit rate like that makes building kokomi much easier since kokomi havers dont need to try so hard to get godly crit main stats/substats and are able to use the “trash” artifacts on her. and despite the trash artis and -100% crit, she deals damage decently and heals a lot. her unique kit and playstyle might not be everyones cup of tea but she does her job properly.
I’ve thought the same too, many if my artifacts roll didn’t have much crit but was more on HP and def. When I got Kokomi building her was stress free and easy but still getting decent heals. She’s unique

Not to mention Ganyu+Kokomi and Lisa+Kokomi works well cause both have wide AOE E skills and both applies elemental damage to the enemy and Kokomi can just instantly deal instant elemental reactions due to her being hydro applier.

@babydesz you can build kokomi with an hp cup or hydrodmg cup hp cup for more healing and a tankier kokomi or a hydro dmg cup for more damage potential for the timepiece and the Circlet people are most likely going to build hp% and healing bonus in either dps or healing kokomi
The only thing I don’t really like abt kokomi is if you move away from the jellyfish it will not heal you. That will be kinda promblematic if the enemies are spread out like in spiral abyss or something. But this is just my opinion. *Pls don’t attack me :)*

For Bennett and Diona, they both have other utilities other than healing. For example Diona can shield and bennett can buff. Even though Bennett only heals with his ult and it only heals u till 3/4 of the chars hp, his healing is super fast. Plus, diona and Bennett are 4 stars. They’re wayy more easier to get than kokomi. I’m so sorry if I sound rude lmaoo 😭👍
kokomi is my first banner character and i love her... shes my MAIN. it is soooooooooo easy without having to HEAL using FOOD.. getting those HUGE chunks of health with her special is perfect... it also damages and adds water... so just that by it self is wonderful. i put 250 + elemental mastery on my keqing and slaps almost everything except electro immune koko's burst is also INSANE... i destroyed EI for the archon quest using mainly kkoko ... her heat seeking fish missiles are awesome
Then their childe tries to break pyro hypostasis shield, he eithrr has to slowly charge shot bow that thing or go melee range and freaking die cos getting rolled over my this thing. And then we can have a good laugh out of it
Koko can tank practically any bosses, from azdaha to la signora, as long as you're willing to put in the time. Her heal is insane even without healing bonus sets since it scales of her hp, 4pc HoD koko with hp% hp flat and atk is clearly enough to do a lot, and she'll clearly become quickly meta with the new hound monsters
@@TenchiHawkwing having a healer will be. Doesn't matter if your healer is Barbara, Qiqi or Jean, you will need a healer. Shields won't do. So yes, Kokomi will become meta, or at least more than she is rn, especially considering she's a tank that can't die, even with corrosion since her heal is higher than corrosion.
as someone who dont have characters who cant split through abyss and taking my time as slow as possible kokomi is good enough to keep me from dying at least , can do it with barbara but less stressful with kokomi around
If this game has taught me ONE THING..... it's that ANYBODY can be, at the very least, a very good DPS. ALL the characters in the game can be a very good DPS. I've even seen plenty of videos showing off Barbara's DPS powers. Nobody is saying Kokomi isn't good..... they're just saying that she's near the bottom rung when it comes to DPS (which she is). But like I said, she is still a very good DPS.... it's just so many other 5* are far and beyond way more powerful than she is... that it makes it SEEM like Kokomi (and a lot of other characters) aren't good damage dealers (when they actually are).
People who says she isn't good is because they play Abyss. A timed challenge with very hard to beat mobs. She isn't good because her kit is weird she's supposed to be a support healer but her ascension is Hydro, her Jellyfish can't reposition and cd is long, as a support she doesn't provide any dmg boost to your main dps(from her own kit), her heal and hydro application isn't reliable because the jellyfish can't reposition(most of the mobs move around a lot and teleport), her dmg provided is low/insignificant to improve the time in Abyss challenge, as a support her burst need her to stay active and AA enemies(=less dps), her burst refresh the duration of her jellyfish instead of the cooldown(can't recast E), as 5stars hydro healer which need irl currency to roll/precious gems she doesn't provide much compared to existing free 4stars hydro healer Barbara. And don't forget in the video she got Bennett BUFF. Yeah, I think she's bad. But hey, I still kinda like her because she's cute.
Kokomi is really fun to play with. Especially if it's with a cryo character like rosaria. I can basically keep enemies frozen if I have rosarias burst and kokomis e. Not to mention constantly healing my characters
I was worried about farming for Thoma cause this boss takes so long but then I got Kokomi randomly (I won the 50/50 for the first time!!) and now its going to be goood
Honestly, I think Kokomi is the best healer of all healer characters. It's either you have to wait until the skill vanish for healing, burst recharge, or slowly killing the enemy while your team is healing. But Kokomi has her lil jellyfish healing you as you go, and I always go for Kokomi whenever the rift wolves are involve. I don't regret getting her during the anniversary crisis.
Yea she really trivializes this boss lol so if you like Kokomi, don’t have Mona and just want a chill character who summons a jellyfish, Kokomi may be for you xD I’ve also been having fun using her with Aether, Raiden, and Xingque with her as the main unit 🥰
Not fair, I already have mona but I still did 115 pulls just to get Kokofish as F2P. She's adorable so I don't care if she heals the enemies she's not getting off my team. :)

Kansjshshsh earlier I made my Spite Team fight the hydro hypostasis and despite Kokomi being underleveled and underbuilt she pretty much soloed it. The others came out like once each for moral support
Let me be blunt: if it was just Damage i would've pulled Kokomi as I like her design. The issue I personally have with her is how her E skill works. It only heals the character on screen and you have to be within a fairly small radius for it to heal, if it healed all characters and just from hitting enemies instead of you being within a specific radius of the Jellyfish (hell even just the healing the whole party would've been fine enough tbh) like i thought it was supposed to work from what i saw of her promotional trailers I'd have been fine with the character and not minded the damage at all. But quite frankly her party heal, her burst, doesn't heal a lot or at least doesn't have a burst heal at the start from what i could seen and only heals on hit (does do a burst damage when activated if i'm right though) which quite frankly, imo, makes her a worse healer than any other healer we have in the game who can all still out damage Kokomi fairly easily due to being able to crit (well crit without having to throw all resources into Crit rate to do so and still only get rewarded with a bit of extra damage in the end that won't even proc often). Also...quite frankly the negative crit rate is absurd as i can not even see anything given in return for losing Crit rate...quite frankly they just take from Kokomi's kit and nothing more and it's beyond stupid. Hell if they said gave her +1-5% ATK%/EM%/DEF%/etc for each -1% of Crit rate at least that would balance things out to some degree. Hell they could've also even given her something like reviving 1 member/all members once every 10 minutes or so to her burst or a stat boost to her Jellyfish while within it's AOE that would buff ATK%/Elemental Damage%/DEF%/etc for the entire party (basically make her a better Bennet even if it's at a lower % than Bennet's ATK% support as it will be able to fully heal the party...which btw the healing the whole party that i mentioned above would also need to be in). Even giving something like 20% ATK Speed or her Burst stays active when swapped out and all it's abilities apply to the on screen character (granted change the Hydro% boost to Elemental Damage % boost to apply to any element) would've made her more viable as a character in a party imo. But with her as she is she's honestly the game's first 3* Kit wise imo even if she gets a 5* design (granted...since Thoma, Ninguang, and Bediou are 4*s i'll honestly say her design is more 4* than 5* if i'm honest since it's not nearly as good as those 3 imo). But ya every other healer in the game is far more useful than Kokomi imo, even Noelle as Noelle can heal and shield you at the same time (pair her with Xinqui/some other secondary or main healer and you're set for heals in the Abyss...as for overworld/Domains/bosses she alone is more than enough). At least for me even though i wanted her as one of the few Inuzuma characters i was planning to get (Yoimiya (got), Baal (got, at C2 on top of that), Kokomi (now passing for the above reasons), and Gorou (granted only if he creates a Geo shield...if not he may be a skip unless he's a 4* like Thoma and i can get him later)) i can now save my primos for Sumeru or a Dendro character if a Dendro character releases before Sumeru...and as far as next 2 banners are concerned: easy skip as i'm not interested in any re-run potentials, any characters i wanted i got the first time they came out.
...you do know Yoimiya was like the worst 5 star in terms of DPS when she was made for DPS before Kokomi came out (even though Kokomi wasn't made for DPS, so I guess it doesn't count). If you care about meta that much, then picking Yoimiya was a poor choice of primogems let alone skipping Kokomi. She has no AOE in a game that throws you into hoards of monsters most of the time, single-target focus, but ironically enough her arrows curve around enemies half the time anyway even at point-blank from like 5 feet away. People thought she would be buffed - never happened. My friend got Kokomi in a team with Raiden, Beidou, and Yoimiya with Beidou and Yoimiya purely for waifu reasons. But the most important part is that his team is literally unkillable with Kokomi's healing. They will never make a broken character that can heal and do massive damage at the same time. Even without crit, she does consistently more hydro damage than Barbara - which is versatile given she can also heal. Hydro application is one of the most versatile elements in the game and we only got 5 characters to choose from for that unfortunately. She is, obviously, not as good as Xingqiu in terms of damage, but the healing is useful with the jellyfish hydro application without having to consciously apply it and just let it sit on the field to do its thing. Geo crystallization is one of the weakest elemental reactions in the game, so Noelle is good for shield and healing, but for elemental reactions, it's weak. I think the most important component bout Kokomi is that she can actually do some damage, decent hydro application PLUS healing. This means you don't have to have a healer and a sub-dps/support in 2 character slots as Kokomi plays both roles simultaneously. I'm saying she has her positives and cons as should with every character and isn't as bad as people make it out to be on the bandwagon.
Worst healer huh ? Give me a healer who has almost a 100% healing uptime, give me a healer that heals 7k-10k per tick without even crowning, give me a healer who has close to 50k health if built right...well there is none. The fact that her E can heal you more then many ults just goes to show how good of a healer she is...I have her and whenever I use her in coop the team becomes literally immortal.
tldr; your issues with her kit aren't even the issues she actually suffers from. Kokomi's E doesn't need a buff outside of being able to recast her E similarly to how Oz functions. She has nearly 100% uptime on ToTm 4p, so having buffs on her E doesn't matter because you can just run that. If you run thrilling tales as well, thats another 48% ATK buff for your main carry while having decent hydro application. Her E also heals for a metric fuck ton while having a decently large hitbox, you will literally get 6k-9k heals per tick depending on your level of investment. Kokomi doesn't even get outdpsed by other healers unless she is built purely for healing with her E, which doesn't even matter since Thrilling Tales is broken, and she has near 100% uptime on ToTM 4p which I already mentioned above. She can offer a lot of ATK buffs for your main DPS, and if you are running a taser comp, you can just run Hakushin Ring for teamwide dps gain (which is BiS in this context), and Thrilling Tales is her best option for snapshotting onto Xiangling for vape teams. Not to mention if she's an on-field enabler she can pretty easily outdps other healers while setting up high dps ceiling teams that can easily clear current endgame content while also having decent personal dps. (Not to mention her teams are very f2p friendly since they consist primarily of 4 stars outside of Kokomi herself + her artifact/weapons are very accessible and easy to farm.) Kokomi also easily sets up reactions off field, allowing her to be a decent substitute for permafreeze and vape teams. (Her E's hydro application can singlehandedly keep up with Xiangling's pyronado, allowing her to vape every tick.) and I have no idea why you brought up Noelle, since she is nowhere near the level of Kokomi in terms of healing and just supporting in general, her shield has dogshit uptime and her heals are lackluster. Noelle only shines as being a geo DPS, but there's no reason to run her when Ningguang exists and will outperform her in every way lol.
I randomly got her ... at c0 i feel underwhelmed ... after few days of playing her i decided to swap back to my C6 Barbara ... she's just irreplaceable
I would love my C6 barbara if she doesnt give wet everytime she heals. She kills my team if there are any cryo enemies, her C6 just to help revive my team thats already dead getting permafreeze, ofc its also part of my fault I am not good at dodging but yeah another healer that doesnt give constant wet every tick heal is better for me, bennett noelle diona jean qiqi kokomi

You shouldnt wish on a banner for a 4*, especially if you dont even want the 5 star character. If you want both 5 star and 4 star, sure go for it but if its just the 4 star wth
You should never ever roll a 5* banner character you don't want to. Xingqui isn't going anywhere. You'll have any time to get him but you won't for the other 5* stars you want.
Never ever roll for 4 stars if you don't want the 5 star because you WILL get the 5 star. It's not kokomi that's ruining your rate, you yourseld are the one that chose to do something really dumb lol
You can just attack the tinders at one place. Kokomi's fish will automatically detect three of them. Plus, kokomi can do more 20K damage even if it's not vaporize. I've tried it. Kokomi's damae during burst is also crazy. I think she is the best 10 seconds dps now. But still mihoyo need to buff her so that people will also regret talking bad about her
the razor at the end is just me, asking everyone to fight a boss and everyone goes to fight the boss and i suddenly went afk cause of parents, and when i came back and went to the boss they already killed it

kokomi is my first banner character and i love her... shes my MAIN. it is soooooooooo easy without having to HEAL using FOOD.. getting those HUGE chunks of health with her special is perfect... it also damages and adds water... so just that by it self is wonderful. i put 250 + elemental mastery on my keqing and slaps almost everything except electro immune koko's burst is also INSANE... i destroyed EI for the archon quest using mainly kkoko ... her heat seeking fish missiles are awesome

Koko can tank practically any bosses, from azdaha to la signora, as long as you're willing to put in the time. Her heal is insane even without healing bonus sets since it scales of her hp, 4pc HoD koko with hp% hp flat and atk is clearly enough to do a lot, and she'll clearly become quickly meta with the new hound monsters

So yes, Kokomi will become meta, or at least more than she is rn, especially considering she's a tank that can't die, even with corrosion since her heal is higher than corrosion.

If this game has taught me ONE THING..... it's that ANYBODY can be, at the very least, a very good DPS. ALL the characters in the game can be a very good DPS. I've even seen plenty of videos showing off Barbara's DPS powers. Nobody is saying Kokomi isn't good..... they're just saying that she's near the bottom rung when it comes to DPS (which she is). But like I said, she is still a very good DPS.... it's just so many other 5* are far and beyond way more powerful than she is... that it makes it SEEM like Kokomi (and a lot of other characters) aren't good damage dealers (when they actually are).
People who says she isn't good is because they play Abyss. A timed challenge with very hard to beat mobs. She isn't good because her kit is weird she's supposed to be a support healer but her ascension is Hydro, her Jellyfish can't reposition and cd is long, as a support she doesn't provide any dmg boost to your main dps(from her own kit), her heal and hydro application isn't reliable because the jellyfish can't reposition(most of the mobs move around a lot and teleport), her dmg provided is low/insignificant to improve the time in Abyss challenge, as a support her burst need her to stay active and AA enemies(=less dps), her burst refresh the duration of her jellyfish instead of the cooldown(can't recast E), as 5stars hydro healer which need irl currency to roll/precious gems she doesn't provide much compared to existing free 4stars hydro healer Barbara. And don't forget in the video she got Bennett BUFF.

Kokomi is really fun to play with. Especially if it's with a cryo character like rosaria. I can basically keep enemies frozen if I have rosarias burst and kokomis e. Not to mention constantly healing my characters

Honestly, I think Kokomi is the best healer of all healer characters. It's either you have to wait until the skill vanish for healing, burst recharge, or slowly killing the enemy while your team is healing. But Kokomi has her lil jellyfish healing you as you go, and I always go for Kokomi whenever the rift wolves are involve. I don't regret getting her during the anniversary crisis.
Now imagine this, but with the new 2.3 healer set who can deal 30k damage every 3~ seconds.

Let me be blunt: if it was just Damage i would've pulled Kokomi as I like her design. The issue I personally have with her is how her E skill works. It only heals the character on screen and you have to be within a fairly small radius for it to heal, if it healed all characters and just from hitting enemies instead of you being within a specific radius of the Jellyfish (hell even just the healing the whole party would've been fine enough tbh) like i thought it was supposed to work from what i saw of her promotional trailers I'd have been fine with the character and not minded the damage at all. But quite frankly her party heal, her burst, doesn't heal a lot or at least doesn't have a burst heal at the start from what i could seen and only heals on hit (does do a burst damage when activated if i'm right though) which quite frankly, imo, makes her a worse healer than any other healer we have in the game who can all still out damage Kokomi fairly easily due to being able to crit (well crit without having to throw all resources into Crit rate to do so and still only get rewarded with a bit of extra damage in the end that won't even proc often).
Also...quite frankly the negative crit rate is absurd as i can not even see anything given in return for losing Crit rate...quite frankly they just take from Kokomi's kit and nothing more and it's beyond stupid. Hell if they said gave her +1-5% ATK%/EM%/DEF%/etc for each -1% of Crit rate at least that would balance things out to some degree. Hell they could've also even given her something like reviving 1 member/all members once every 10 minutes or so to her burst or a stat boost to her Jellyfish while within it's AOE that would buff ATK%/Elemental Damage%/DEF%/etc for the entire party (basically make her a better Bennet even if it's at a lower % than Bennet's ATK% support as it will be able to fully heal the party...which btw the healing the whole party that i mentioned above would also need to be in). Even giving something like 20% ATK Speed or her Burst stays active when swapped out and all it's abilities apply to the on screen character (granted change the Hydro% boost to Elemental Damage % boost to apply to any element) would've made her more viable as a character in a party imo. But with her as she is she's honestly the game's first 3* Kit wise imo even if she gets a 5* design (granted...since Thoma, Ninguang, and Bediou are 4*s i'll honestly say her design is more 4* than 5* if i'm honest since it's not nearly as good as those 3 imo). But ya every other healer in the game is far more useful than Kokomi imo, even Noelle as Noelle can heal and shield you at the same time (pair her with Xinqui/some other secondary or main healer and you're set for heals in the Abyss...as for overworld/Domains/bosses she alone is more than enough).
At least for me even though i wanted her as one of the few Inuzuma characters i was planning to get (Yoimiya (got), Baal (got, at C2 on top of that), Kokomi (now passing for the above reasons), and Gorou (granted only if he creates a Geo shield...if not he may be a skip unless he's a 4* like Thoma and i can get him later)) i can now save my primos for Sumeru or a Dendro character if a Dendro character releases before Sumeru...and as far as next 2 banners are concerned: easy skip as i'm not interested in any re-run potentials, any characters i wanted i got the first time they came out.

...you do know Yoimiya was like the worst 5 star in terms of DPS when she was made for DPS before Kokomi came out (even though Kokomi wasn't made for DPS, so I guess it doesn't count). If you care about meta that much, then picking Yoimiya was a poor choice of primogems let alone skipping Kokomi. She has no AOE in a game that throws you into hoards of monsters most of the time, single-target focus, but ironically enough her arrows curve around enemies half the time anyway even at point-blank from like 5 feet away. People thought she would be buffed - never happened.
My friend got Kokomi in a team with Raiden, Beidou, and Yoimiya with Beidou and Yoimiya purely for waifu reasons. But the most important part is that his team is literally unkillable with Kokomi's healing. They will never make a broken character that can heal and do massive damage at the same time. Even without crit, she does consistently more hydro damage than Barbara - which is versatile given she can also heal. Hydro application is one of the most versatile elements in the game and we only got 5 characters to choose from for that unfortunately. She is, obviously, not as good as Xingqiu in terms of damage, but the healing is useful with the jellyfish hydro application without having to consciously apply it and just let it sit on the field to do its thing. Geo crystallization is one of the weakest elemental reactions in the game, so Noelle is good for shield and healing, but for elemental reactions, it's weak.
I think the most important component bout Kokomi is that she can actually do some damage, decent hydro application PLUS healing. This means you don't have to have a healer and a sub-dps/support in 2 character slots as Kokomi plays both roles simultaneously. I'm saying she has her positives and cons as should with every character and isn't as bad as people make it out to be on the bandwagon.
Worst healer huh ? Give me a healer who has almost a 100% healing uptime, give me a healer that heals 7k-10k per tick without even crowning, give me a healer who has close to 50k health if built right...well there is none. The fact that her E can heal you more then many ults just goes to show how good of a healer she is...I have her and whenever I use her in coop the team becomes literally immortal.

tldr; your issues with her kit aren't even the issues she actually suffers from.
Kokomi's E doesn't need a buff outside of being able to recast her E similarly to how Oz functions. She has nearly 100% uptime on ToTm 4p, so having buffs on her E doesn't matter because you can just run that. If you run thrilling tales as well, thats another 48% ATK buff for your main carry while having decent hydro application. Her E also heals for a metric fuck ton while having a decently large hitbox, you will literally get 6k-9k heals per tick depending on your level of investment.
Kokomi doesn't even get outdpsed by other healers unless she is built purely for healing with her E, which doesn't even matter since Thrilling Tales is broken, and she has near 100% uptime on ToTM 4p which I already mentioned above. She can offer a lot of ATK buffs for your main DPS, and if you are running a taser comp, you can just run Hakushin Ring for teamwide dps gain (which is BiS in this context), and Thrilling Tales is her best option for snapshotting onto Xiangling for vape teams. Not to mention if she's an on-field enabler she can pretty easily outdps other healers while setting up high dps ceiling teams that can easily clear current endgame content while also having decent personal dps. (Not to mention her teams are very f2p friendly since they consist primarily of 4 stars outside of Kokomi herself + her artifact/weapons are very accessible and easy to farm.)
Kokomi also easily sets up reactions off field, allowing her to be a decent substitute for permafreeze and vape teams. (Her E's hydro application can singlehandedly keep up with Xiangling's pyronado, allowing her to vape every tick.)
and I have no idea why you brought up Noelle, since she is nowhere near the level of Kokomi in terms of healing and just supporting in general, her shield has dogshit uptime and her heals are lackluster. Noelle only shines as being a geo DPS, but there's no reason to run her when Ningguang exists and will outperform her in every way lol.

You can just attack the tinders at one place. Kokomi's fish will automatically detect three of them. Plus, kokomi can do more 20K damage even if it's not vaporize. I've tried it. Kokomi's damae during burst is also crazy. I think she is the best 10 seconds dps now. But still mihoyo need to buff her so that people will also regret talking bad about her
