I learned a lot in that role but was severely underpaid for what I was doing, companies like that are good and bad depending on how you look at it. Now I'm transitioning into a role where I can use my creativity skills such as a creative strategist, so this video is really helpful. Thank you. :)

I'm the creative strategist and media buyer for my own business. 🤪 Would love to know about your naming conventions, and also your process for moving something from Testing to Prospecting/Retargeting. I think in one of your videos you mentioned increasing the budget first in Testing, to see if the creative could handle it? But I'd love to know more about what you're looking for in a test, and what to do when you add a new successful creative to a Prospecting campaign, and FB doesn't spend on it because it's still spending on the other ads in that ad set. Last thing (sorry! LOL) Airtable is a really great collaborative tool to track inspiration, creative pipelines, analytics, etc. all in one place and it's way prettier than Notion. 😄

One of my biggest challenges with TikTok is that the algo picks one “killer” ad and allocates 90% there, not giving the other ads enough of a chance for me to get any insights in the creative test (other than that the killer ad is good lol). Any tips?
As always - great video. However, the background music in the last few videoes have been a bit distracting in my opinion. I think you either need to turn down the volume or remove it. Of course this is only my opinion, idk if other people share it
creatives strategies means we need to creat a lot creatives and combine btw them and nice adcopies that will help us a lot to get the best strategies and look for the direct target for getting 10k in the month ??

Hi Dara, I'm a designer new to media buying and the social media ads world - it seems like media and ad buyers don't actually have to design the ads themselves, but I don't really see any job postings in general of designers designing the ads/videos used for these campaigns. What do you call designers who help the creative strategists execute/create the creatives? Brand designers, product designers, creative designers? Or should designers learn media buying skills to pivot into this industry?

Nope, not at all. Generally I let ads run for a few hundred $$$ depending on the client and product and turn off if performance is poor.
