I've always interpreted these assassinations as meant to have occurred when Altair finally corners them into a private spot where nobody can identify where they are. So they get time to have a one-to-one discussion. However, the script-writers and gameplay designers must've had a quarrel or two, and so these discussions end up happening out in the open, mid-fight, and doesn't appear to make too much sense.
I love that they kept them in the game anyway, they're so damn profound.

Look at Altair, skilled, no one is able to hit him(sync bar) that even Al Mualim, the mentor, who with the Apple of Eden can even take down the Roman Empire, wasn't able to hit Altair in battle. He even saved The Order many times. In the assassins who went under his lead either respects him or is afraid of him. Proving him more skilled than Ezio. You can say Ezio is a better CHARACTER, not assassin, I'm ok with that but what I despise is when people spread fake news just to say Ezio is more skilled. Such as Altair can't swim, when it was just a glitch in the Animus.

Los enemigos de AC 1 fueron los mejores.

Why are you not attacked when you are in the "hotspot" area
