I've really struggled with all this and yours is the first video that got me close. I have a Pixel 4 XL and when I'm doing the first balancing part of this video it seems to only balance on one side. As in, when I loosen the lock and then adjust, my phone will hold perfectly on one side and then not on another side. Do you have any thoughts for what's going on here?

I've done this with my new Smooth 4 (with a Google Pixel 3a), no matter what I seem to do it always just returns back to the phone being flat face down. I can't get it to just hold it's position...?

I have a samsung s9 and isteady mobile plus. If I balance my phone just like that, the arm of the gimbal is visible on the camera, do you have a solution?

I have tried everything you said, watched every single video on TH-cam to get it balanced but no way. I'm about it to break it away. This is my second gimbal, first one was the same but I have it to my brother as a gift now I got me a new one but somehow I can't balance it. Do you think it might be broken?

Has not to do with gimbal some phones fault with bad balance, samsung are well balanced itself.

Two important things guys
1) The mobile should be clamped on the gimbal before you balance it and
2) The gimbal should be switched off

I've got a small phone - Iphone SE (2016). Both tricks don't work because my phone is too small. What I do to balance my gimbal is to leave a gap between phone and an arm of gimbal. Probably what I have to do is to buy counterweight with adjustable mount clamps. I hope it will help some of you.

İn the video the second balance is very weird. For example the clamp can be pushed in and out. And it stucks to the area which you moved. But in my smooth 4 if you push the clamp in and out it goes but one second later it reverse in its beginning place again. So it doesnt work for me. İ use iphone 11. Maybe because of that? İ dont think so. Do you guys have a solution for that. İs my gimbal needs repairing? İ bought it today.

@@stillirise505 then you need to get a counter weight, most phone gimbals arent made for the biggest sized phone like Ultra. Normal and plus size of Samsung does balance.

Why you didnt tell during adjustment , gimble powe is on or off position.
Gimble power must be on . otherwise it can not take pose you set vertically
