I used to own the Nintendo Entertainment System at my old house. Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt were the first games that I remember. I also used to own Super Mario Bros 3. I also used to own the black and white game boy. Some of the original Gameboy games that I still own include Tetris Blast, Alleyway, F 1 race, Dr Mario and Toy Story 2. Then I still have my Gameboy color and my Gameboy advance. I also own a Nintendo DSI system. I just love the Super Mario Bros Franchise. I am still waiting to get the Super Mario All Stars 25th anniversary for my Nintendo Wii. I love your game collection videos!
Superb video! Great to see you reviit your collections with an updated perspective. Your original collection videos were what got me into TH-cam in the first place, so for me this will be a little nostalgic in itself, never mond the games! NES was a great choice to start off with - I do not actively collect for it right now, but plan on doing so some day in the future.....
Wow was about to go to sleep but told myself "I should check if a new finngamer video is up to help me fall asleep" AMAZING timing. 35 minutes too, thank you god
Just brilliant! I love thee videos and I'm excited for the rest of your collections! I love watching fellow European collectors because I know what a collection like this takes, monetary and non-monetary! Though I noticed some of your popular games are of US region, it's still impressive to see a set like this one!
On the N64, every version of Carmageddon was zombies. Except in Germany, where even the zombies were too much. They were censored into... dinosaurs and woolly mammoths. CRAZY.
Finngamer, your NES/Famicom collection is truly impressive, buddy. When you said Japan don't import anything, to be honest, I think Japan does import stuff from America and Europe, and us Americans import stuff from Japan and Europe, just saying. I love importing from Germany, Japan, Sweden, and Brazil 🇩🇪 🇯🇵 🇸🇪 🇧🇷, cuz I understand Deutsche, 日本語, Svenska, & Português do Brasil. I hope I can find the book version of Charlotte's Web in Swedish & Brazilian Portuguese, along with German & Japanese.
I made few rules for my NES game collecting: 1. Always get the EEC/SCN version if possible 2. Get the game as a CIB (finnish manuals are fun to read!) 3. USA games can be without box or manual. Currently I own only TMHT 1, Battletoads (MINT), Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt (with manual)...
I don't (well, only Jaguar). The older Ataris just weren't part of my childhood, never grew an attachment to them, and now later on I need to prioritize what I collect.
I hoped you would have told the story behind Tecmo Cup. The game was originally released as Captain Tsubasa in Japan for Famicom based on the manga by the same name. For the western release they changed the name and characters just so it would fit western markets better.
Zelda 2 is one of my favourite Zeldas, it gets too much hate for no reason I feel. I am just curious, why do you put Zelda 1 at L for Legend and Zelda 2 at Z for Zelda but then you put Wizards and Warriors with W and Ironsword: Wizards and Warriors 2 with W as well instead of at I?
Of, fantastic! That's the only manual I'm missing from my NES games. Though it's German language? No matter, definitely better than nothing. :) I'll send you a private message.
everybody thinking mario 3 is better than world is blinded by nostalgia. just consider what game people are still making romhacks of to this day. the controls of smw are the best in any platformer, ever. it introduces new concepts and enemies til the end while mario 3 levels are short and repetitive. really, there is NO competition
I bought a copy of doom 2 for IBM 3.5 for 4 dollars is this a rare game I don't know much about big box pc games and I couldn't find much about it on the Internet ( the game is complete and in great condition)
No, I meant Space Mutants is the best of the Simpsons games, not necessarily a good game by it's own. :) But Turtles was fantastic back in the day. Flawed today of course, but back then it was perfect.
"Maybe somebody in Germany thought that Humans shooting Aliens is too much" Valid assumption, my countries issues with video games are legendarily stupid. If there's a censored version of a game, we have that version.
Germany likes to censor in general, we've censored games back in the day, we're doing it nowadays, we censor the Animes we get official dubs for we just censor like hell... which is ironic, because we get the same dubs of foreign shows and the same games as Austria and Switzerland do, and none of them care the slightest bit for censorship, at least not in games... so getting uncensored copies is actually really easy most of the time. Just goes to show that censorship doesn't really work.
Not as huge as I thought it'd be. Still a lot more NES games then I own. (I only have 11 I think) I don't really know if I can trust your judgement on game quality if you think Bart vs the Space Mutants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were great games since both of those are awful.
Belle collection, elle a dû évoluer depuis.

What a perfect way to begin my weekend, thank you Janne & I look forward to all of the other re-visits of your collection!
Wow was about to go to sleep but told myself "I should check if a new finngamer video is up to help me fall asleep" AMAZING timing. 35 minutes too, thank you god
Every time I see that Faxanadu I get all Giddy knowing a piece of my game collection, now resides with my favorite youtuber. That's pretty cool
Yes :D I have really been looking forward to these videos and you didn't disappoint. Great stuff! :D
Can't WAIT to see more collection videos! Really excited!

Yes! Was waiting for a revisit! Great collection :)
Finngamer: The Bob Ross of video game collecting.
On the N64, every version of Carmageddon was zombies. Except in Germany, where even the zombies were too much. They were censored into... dinosaurs and woolly mammoths. CRAZY.
Dude your voice is memorizing. Great collections
Thanks! :)
andyvhb wut?
andyvhb I agree.
andyvhb did you mean "mesmerizing"???

I'm sure Japanese gamers import stuff, but it's not nearly at the level as people buy things from Japan.
I'll post you Shadowgate next Monday. Great collection as usual.
Nice! I can't wait to see your upcoming videos :)
awesome collection!! you really need to complete those mega mans, though ;D
I made few rules for my NES game collecting: 1. Always get the EEC/SCN version if possible 2. Get the game as a CIB (finnish manuals are fun to read!) 3. USA games can be without box or manual.

This may sound weird, but these individual game collection videos are probably good to have just in terms of insurance.

thats a nice collection of nes games
I have been thinking about doing a playthrough of Contra, we'll see. :)
nice collection man
They can be found over here as well, I'll get one once they discount the remaining ones no one wants. :)
I wanna build a fort out of all your NES games.....then live in there and never leave
fantastic, just what I needed ^^
Nice collection.
Do you have an atari collection? and if you do will you show a video for it, boxes inlcuded! thank you!
Yes, that's what you asked, to complete. :) I don't think I'll ever "complete" my NES or SNES collections, so many games.
Sorry if you've already been asked this but why were Zelda 2 and To The Earth in small boxes. Is it a Europe thing.
awesome mate keep it up what collection are you aiming to complete now??
Zelda 2 is one of my favourite Zeldas, it gets too much hate for no reason I feel. I am just curious, why do you put Zelda 1 at L for Legend and Zelda 2 at Z for Zelda but then you put Wizards and Warriors with W and Ironsword: Wizards and Warriors 2 with W as well instead of at I?

I'll send you a private message.
Damn, I lost you by 5 games ! I have 53 NES cartridges. =)
But to be honest I thought you have like 200 NES games.
great video. thx.
round two baby! =D
Yeah, it's Legend of Zelda and Zelda II: Adevnture of Link (without the "Legend of"). But you're right, I should have put Ironsword at I. :)
Whoa you must have payed a fortune for all those with boxes.
@finngamer meinaatko ostaa The last of ussista Joel vai Ellie editionin?
everybody thinking mario 3 is better than world is blinded by nostalgia. just consider what game people are still making romhacks of to this day. the controls of smw are the best in any platformer, ever. it introduces new concepts and enemies til the end while mario 3 levels are short and repetitive. really, there is NO competition
there's a thing called opinion
Ya World is way better
World is too easy mario 3 is more challenging
Sounds great thank you:)
Like! Like! Like! Finn, there is something in that small transparent space in Zelda 2, is that something missing?
Can you do a video like this for Playstaion 1 games? :)
Janne have you heard about the wii mini it's a limited edition wii for 99 American dollars there very limited so I think you should look into it
I bought a copy of doom 2 for IBM 3.5 for 4 dollars is this a rare game I don't know much about big box pc games and I couldn't find much about it on the Internet ( the game is complete and in great condition)

Do the gameplays with Nintendo NES any game you want

Plz do the contra playthrough it is a great game a classic. Maybe with a friend :)
Hey janne, awesome collection,
I have a double manual for athletic world. Are you interested? I could send it you way.
Are you goming to Assembly Summer 2013?
sorry mate im sometimes not that great at wording :( but anyways keep up the great work
Can't really tell from the video but are all your NES games sealed?
No, they are in clear, protective boxes.
Nothing really, though I'm not that far off with Virtual Boy or Vectrex. The remaining games are very expensive though. :)
Kiitos paljon vastauksesta.
Do you also collect SCN finngamer? Or doesn't it matter for you?
kalle145 I do value SCN games over others, but I'm not that bothered to have them all SCN. About half of my NES games are SCN.
Mitkä noi muovi päällyset on peleissä? Mistä olet hankkinut ne?
"Maybe somebody in Germany thought that Humans shooting Aliens is too much"

I don't want to sound like that guy but where is ice climber ghouls n goblins and bomberman
Nah, never really been into Assembly.
No, there's supposed to be an empty space there.
Mario does make everything better
Haha, great. :)
It's an European release.
Not as huge as I thought it'd be. Still a lot more NES games then I own. (I only have 11 I think)

metroid is pretty greedy :D
Are you german?

ohh ok is your aim to get every game ever made??
=D
