for exra security, if you (general) know how to crochet, you can do a some chain stitches to make the belt loops (so the individual thread strands don't get caught on anything).
That’s such a great suggestion. I actually thought about doing a crochet chain stitch for the belt loops but I decided to keep it super simple for the tutorial since not everyone knows how to crochet 🙈 Still, for those who do, it’s definitely a great option for extra durability - thanks for sharing this tip 💕
@FashionWizardry for sure; it would also def be difficult to do a good "tutorial"/demo on how to chain stitch with thread already, and then dark (matching) thread would also make that so much _more_ difficult to film since people would have a hard time seeing the details. do get why you didn't include that xD
Hahaha there’s also this 😂 getting that thread to show up on camera was a true challenge 💀💕 Thanks so much for your lovely feedback and comments, I appreciate them so much 🫶🏾
This is such a genius idea - repurposing belt loops is such a clever touch 💕 Thanks for sharing that and I’m so glad you enjoyed the humor too. Little things like this make the hacks even more fun to create and share so thank you 🫶🏾
Thank you! Blazers are definitely versatile though - layering them under padded coats is such a great trick for winter too 😉 I appreciate you tuning in as always 💕
No blazers have not passed in the UK as I wear a blazers as a layer piece under the coats as another additional layer of warmth and in the office and yes I live in the UK 😏
Hhhhmmm 🤔that is odd as I don't recall that blazers have a season, having worked in retail High end I do recall there was blazers all year round And I 🤔🤔🤔I am sure they are classed as a staple for a wardrobe capsule. Depending on a person taste and there style those persons would have a Blazer of different fabrics and that cover all the season for example spring an summer which may cover cotton silk linen and a mix of these with polyester or viscose and some others autumn and winter would maybe wool cashmere and also a mix of what I had mentioned before I am sure you may have a Blazer of these fabrics to cover "your season " but hey each to there own😊
I totally get that! Sewing is definitely a great option for a cleaner finish. I love sharing quick fixes for those who might not have sewing skills or time to spare, but it’s always good to hear other perspectives 🫶🏾

@@leahcardzansi3924Blazer season has passed for me.
@@FashionWizardryI wouldn't wear a blazer under a coat as I have a very full bust, I would look boxy and square.

I don't want safety pins on my jacket that is tacky. Sewing the tie is better.
