I'm convinced they don't actually go anywhere they just travel back and forth from home 😂

Schwarzbrot or pumpernickel, as you might know it as, not "doormat".
Europe is not Qatar... stuff gets re-used here, get used to it. As I said before: perfectly adequate sleeper train, just odd they don't seem to offer early booking discounts.

What us the point if you pay 50% of your salary taxes to travel on an old train for 350 for two people and the funny is Germany builds its own trains that is a fraud

@@fatPanda1001 Ehm... hello? -it's a sleeper train, not tax subsidised commuter transport. We pay taxes for adequate public services, public healthcare and social security, not to make luxury conveniences like sleeper trains cheaper.
175,- per person is a perfectly reasonable price for this sort of service over this sort of distance. However, it is unusual there seem to be no early booking or last minute discounts available.
"Germany" doesn't build any rail stock. German railway operators buy trains from Siemens (German), Bombardier (Canadian), Alstom (French) and other manufacturers. DB Cargo, e.g. uses EMD freight locomotives. Granted it is a model primarily sold on the European market and thus quite different to the ones you're probably used to seeing, but it is an EMD and thus an American loco nonetheless.
Arguing from ignorance is usually not a good idea, just saying...

This is the brand new plush and spiffy train service connecting the two most focal cities in the EU : Paris and Berlin. Luckily, I will be on one of these trains really soon😊.

Why do you call the thing “Europe’s worst sleeper train” and then bang on about all the good bits?

    • @jakobwinder3687

I would actually say Nightjet is among the best operators in Europe compared to a lot of sleeper trains in eastern and southeastern Europe.

@@jakobwinder3687 yes I agree. Was just a very misleading title. I see it’s been changed now.

You shoud try overnight train in Finland. From Helsinki to Rovanniemi. It's 9 hours and if you buy ticket month before trip it's only 60 euros

Ryanair does it for 40 euros or less in 1.5 hours

If I fly, I prefer a real company, and one with much better ethics than Ryanair. I'd prefer hitchhiking than giving a single euro to Ryanair.

Definitely not worth the price with how long it takes. Cost the same as high speed trains and way more than flights

Yeah, that's my main gripe with the service: they don't seem to offer early booking discounts. Which, otherwise, is standard for long train journeys.
