I Made Invisible Ink

I made an invisible painting using a little acid/base chemistry and some highlighters. Go grab some highlighters and lemon juice and follow along. Super simple, a HUGE mess, and so SO fun to do. My hands are still orange.

I tried this, but when the ink dried on paper, it still showed up glowing. I’m trying to find a way to make it basically invisible, except under black light. any ideas?

You could try painting the rest of the surface with plain lemon juice to match the texture

How long this invisible ink colour stay

It'll say invisible until you spray it with baking soda. Then it remains bright yellow until such a time you decide to thrown lemon juice on it again.

Does it matter what flash light it is

It has to be a blacklight/UV flashlight. Otherwise, brand or size doesn't matter.

It's pretty cool. You take highlighter ink (preferably the yellow) and add some lemon juice to make the invisible ink. Then you spray it down with some baking soda dissolved in water to bring the color/glowiness back. :)
