- A police chase ended in a wrong-way crash on the 405 Freeway in the Brentwood area. After multiple failed PIT maneuvers, the suspect drove into oncoming traffic and slammed into several cars.

What a bunch of keystone cops. They had plenty of chances to end it and they let this happen. Did you see the police car guarding the traffic move out of the way as she came towards the cars? He should be fired immediately.

Kudos to the LA county LEO for prioritize the safety of the offender over the safety of literally everybody else. Unlike the Arkansas State Police that would PIT for a violent rollover, the CA police would gently nudge, wait patiently for the offender to give up, and keep another slow speed pursuit for another 30 minutes.
If the criminal gets hurt, California puts the police officer in jail. Criminals are a protected class in California.
Crazy! Right before she crashes you see a car quickly get out of the way. That’s why you should always have situational awareness on the road.

Absolutely terrible job by pursing police with all those police vehicles incompetently incapable to stop her.
And actually allowing her to head on at over 60 mph into oncoming traffic.
Even when she was a viable and dangerous threat to the officers and the public. They chose the dereliction of duty instead of using the force neccessary to stop her. Im not blaming all the pursuing officers here...Just those that had the chance to stop her..Even using lethal force and refused to exercise that right!

There were 10 -11 cop cars when she was turning around they had the chance to stop her by blocking her in & then whe she climbed on the truck at the end not 1 cop checked on the person in the Silver car for almost a minute. 1 minute may not seem that long but when you've been hit head on with a huge van at a speed of 85 - 90 mph 1 minute is life changing.
I do hope & pray that person was/is ok & on the mend 🌻.
