These aren’t tips for 2018. These are forever tips to being a successful DJ! Great tips, I subscribed .
Because of these tips I NEARLY landed my first dj gig for a disco in a local bar where the djs are booked nonstop once they do one of these discos. The reason I didn’t get a gig is purely because the date they offered me I had a event on I couldn’t get out of although i may be booked by them again in a few weeks so Lixxer you give amazing tips you go girl!!!!

Is instagram a good way to brand yourself?? I am trying to make it in the DJ industry but I am not sure what else I should do !! I made business card as well , and how much money is it for you to make your own logo ?!
The biggest point is, promote, promote, promote. There a tons of DJ'S out there, what separates you from the rest....promotion. I listened to what you said promoted myself and working a steady gig just by asking. I now have a following which can parlay when I do different events.

What are good speakers to bring to venues ?? I have a controller , a light stand, couple mini disco balls, I don't have a mic yet either !!!! is that all I need for a gig outside a club ??

Congratulations on 100 gigs. That’s a lot! In 2018 I would like to see more djs raise their prices. I am doing about 15-20 weddings a year and that takes a big toll on me lol. I don’t really count the club or bar gigs as I don’t promote them. I am trying to brand myself more for weddings.
