The Midwest doesn't get true powder days often, so they are special when they happen. I hope all of you get out there and experience a Midwest powder day this season.

Nice - we got about 20 inches of wetter snow from Eau Claire up to Hayward (Bruce Mound and Christy Mountain got dumped on) last week. The cold has dried out the snow so it's light and fluffy. The snow we had last Sunday at Christy Mountain was great - unfortunately only the main run and a few side runs were open - power was knocked out earlier in the week and a bunch of snowmaking equipment got stranded on the steep sections. Bruce Mound was also CLOSED due to power outages and is now closed because people have succumbed to the Weather Nancys... Anyways, because Bruce is government run they don't open on Christmas eve or Christmas day so - BUMMER... Oh well - I'm happy I have some trails on my back 40 and the Midwest is off to a great 2023 start.

Nice editing. Looks like you use a drone for some of those aerial views? I just got back from Lutsen and would have loved to shred all that powder. The snow was pretty good quality though despite it being sunny with the temp above 30. Looks like you found some great tree runs!
