I think the Camaros in general should be on this list as through the move franchise, he was a 70s or 80s Camaro, than a 5th, 6th and 7th generation Camaro. Even though that Bumblebee wasn’t originally a Camaro in the franchise but was a VW beetle and he was one in his spin-off movie that was a prequel to the Michael Bay Transformers movie.

Smokey and the Bandit started my love affair with the Firebird Trans Am and Knight Rider re-enforced it. I have owned multiple versions 2nd gen thru 4th gen. I still love them as a matter of fact I plan on getting a 2002 ws6 or a 1982 by spring. the T/A to me is like Mad Max's interceptor is to him. I will always have one.
With time, as cars got more plasticky, they started putting much different body kits on Camaro and Firebird, but if you look at the roof lines, they are always the same.
I wonder if the Supra fans would be as obnoxious as they are if the Supra wasn't made so famous by the Fast and the Furious franchise. It would have also been better for the price of used MK4s as well xD Here in Germany one of the more infamous cars due to its image and appearance in an older movie is the Opel Manta. I think it gained notoriety in the 80s? I'm not sure, well before I was born. I personally would have added the Ford GT40 to the list, as it gained a lot of attention after Ford v Ferrari, especially with younger people. And while it's not a Hollywood product, Initial D made the AE86 an automotive icon as well.

But FYI, they actually revived the Delorean car brand and the new model Delorean is actually a 5 seater EV but they still have the 2 gull wing doors, and has some other design feature to make it recognisable as that same car but it this one is more modernised and in a less boxy body shape.
