Here’s the video where I create the collage papers. th-cam.com/video/jgY-H1NXWPY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FkENG6lLYY5UoCEg
I was going to tell you that Louise had figured out how to make the oxides permanent. She’s always experimenting. You can use the sprays and the stamp pads like paint. Just put a tiny bit on your palette add a little water and use a brush to get it through the stencil.
Her channel is so great! I think I’m going to like working on the matte paper with the oxide inks. 😍
I love watching you work. Very creative. I was worried about photo paper because I’d heard you can ruin your plate with it, but perhaps that’s a different kind. I think I need a shaper, it looks pretty awesome.
I am using inkjet matte photo paper. You definitely don’t want to use glossy paper on the gelli plate. The color shaper rocks! Thanks Mary. 😍
Girl, I adore your channel...and I'm def buying oxides!
YES girl! They are so fun especially with the matte photo paper. I bought some mini oxide ink pads tonight. Thanks for watching! 😍
I really liked this one! You added more shapes besides just straight lines. Plus, the colors and textures are great!
Thank you! You know how I love my neutral palette. 😍
Looks great! Love all the texture you achieved through the stamp pads, sprays and collage papers! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much! 😊
Yes girl! I will look for the starch next time I’m at the grocery. Dragging it through the gravy. Haha! I love that! 😍
Hello Ms. Trina! I just found your channel and I've been catching up on all your videos. I love your style. Everything I've seen so far has just been amazing and inspiring. Everything looks like so much fun when you do it! Thank you for sharing your techniques.
Thanks so much! I love creating my work and love that you all are finding some value in it. 😍
I love your work and Jackie Bernardi is one of my favorites too. I've been playing with the medical exam paper and I really like it. Next is tea bag paper
Isn’t Jackie the best? Love the med exam paper and want to try the tea bag paper. I have too many ideas! Haha! Thanks for watching. 😍
I love your artworks!!! I like the colours you use, too! Very cool! 👌🧡
Trina, would you be able to tell me where do you get your amazing stencils, please?
Much appreciated! 🙏
There are links to some of them in the description. However, some came from TEMU. 😍
Thank you so much, Trina! 🙏
@@doraliddy9101 happy to help. 😍
Love the results. Can you tell me what the make of the first stamp you use is? You don’t have it listed here and I love it. Many thanks
Thanks! That stamp is from TEMU. Search for background stamp and it should be there. 😍
Oh my goodness gracious! Imagine my shock when you mentioned me!😊I wish I could remember what TH-camr turned me on to it. Liquid starch is available at most grocery stores in the laundry detergent aisle. I paid 3.49 for a half gallon. It is awesome as a glue! Never yellows and doesn’t lift previous dried layers. I don’t know about its archival properties but I’m not concerned about what I’m doing outliving the cockroaches…lol
I love to use a stencil as a mask and usually lift it on deli paper or now exam paper and collage it down!
I’m going to try mixing some Color Fusion crystals as a spray and see if I can achieve something approaching the distressed sprays if not I may have to order some. You might want to add them to your Amazon shop😂
What is up with Kuretaki paint curling? Mine are doing the same thing! Weird!
Love this piece!
Sherry
Hey Sherry, so happy to know your name! 😍 Cool that the starch work with the med paper. Can’t wait to hear about your spray experiment. I have no idea why those Kuretake’s are curling. It’s only that set for me. Weird. 😍
Love love this ❤❤❤ I really want that line stencil, but not the others in the kit, it would cost £16 to get so going to try make one.....💐💐💐💐💐
Thank you! Look on TEMU for the line stencil. 😍
That's great to know.... Thanks so much. I was thinking since you mentioned it being chalky, it made me wonder if Gouache might be more compatible with it.
I’m not sure why the paint was chalky. I’m going to have another play this week so maybe I can work it out. Gouache is not something I use but I would encourage you to experiment with it. Thanks for watching! 😍
Dang… TH-cam kept losing part of my comments. Sorry to keep adding to it but…I have that happen frequently. Maybe they are telling me I comment too much😂
Those spray bottles are not the best. If they were fine mist bottles they would work better and put the paint where and how much you wanted easier and better!!
They are a bit hard to handle. Trying to embrace the randomness. 😍
