This is just so wonderful. I hope to make a trip to Japan some day. What a wonderful experience to have seen first-hand the paper making process in such a gorgeous environment. Looking forward to Donna's courses!
As always this was an inspiring, gorgeous presentation. I'm so touched and inspired by both of you, Donna and Angela, you feel like kindred spirits, thank you so much for this and for the beautiful course you're offering. The video and talk about the Kurotani Washi studio brought me to tears. When I finished my BFA long ago in 1978 I read in an art magazine about an opportunity to go to Kyoto and do an apprenticeship with one of the eldest master papermakers near there. I believe it was at Kurotani Washi. I was already in love with handmade paper and making it myself with all the things I could find like cattail leaves, and kozo which I of course had to order. I couldn't raise the funds to make the trip and do follow this dream before I married, became a mom etc... but now feel like your course has given me hope to return to that dream, if only in a different format through the course but maybe even return to the dream of visiting there still. Thank you so much!!!
Donna, your support and sharing mean so much! Feeling lost or bringing frustration or "what can I start" into your artwork is hard to manage. I love your focus on bring yourself, looking at the world, and sharing what you see! Treasure!

So inspiring, wow, thank you
I was transfixed watching the Kurotani Washi film…very soothing! They must have so much pride in what they do.

Will the course be available for a time. I would love to do this but wouldn’t be able to enrol until August? (-: Marion
