I'm 16 years old and I am going through the same situation as him. I was thriving to go for Film and Television industry for 2 years then to be a professional wrestler but I gave that up for the final call. God has been using my Nana for years, she would always say I'm gonna be a priest. Even my other family members. I denied because I hated to be one. But I now accept it. God Bless You All.

I had wanted to be a Priest since I was young, but wanted a wife and family, so was a nurse but didn’t like all the politics, now I’m a Chaplain, and it is the best vocation in the world!!!

I had the honor to meet this man. He used to volunteer to do mass In Illinois prisons. He’s hands down the most understanding and open minded priest ive met. The Catholic Church needs more priest like him. I’ve heard him use science in his ceremony’s, something that’s unheard of in the Catholic Church. God bless this man.

This is such a beautiful testimony. Father Chase is truly blessed among men. I would trade places with him at any moment without further thought. I pray that it will be God's will and calling for me to discern my vocation to the priesthood and the religious life.

A vital comment for me: Fr said he continued to experience a lack of peace in the midst of the greatest happiness he had experienced. How often do we chase happiness and find it fleeting? Happiness does not always equal peace.
God, please send us many many many more men like Fr. Chase to rebuild that Church and drive out the evil.

I've talked to a parish priest (my college chaplain) - hmm... having received regular spiritual directions for around nine months, he said I seemed to have a Vocation and (according to him) the signs are obvious - but in the past month I don't 'feel' any sentiment nor 'calling' (although I'm willing to follow Jesus IF HE EXPLICITLY tells me to do so some point in my life)... pray for me! Especially when I'm too occupied with my hectic study
(6 ways to discover my vocation)1-prayer..2-sacraments..3-good information..4-the blessed mother pray three hail Mary's every day specially to know ur vocation..5-go on retreat..6-GET ADVICE..and when u receive communion ask jesus to show you ur vocation. I'LL BE PRAYING FOR YOU.
One thing is for sure: no one will hustle this priest on the field. God bless you father.

It is hard to give up something you love and have done for your entire life. Yet I don't think all those practices, games and tournaments were for nothing. I had genuine fun in the sport I loved growing up with friends. I thank God is calling me to a vocation. To love others outside the lines and bleachers of the field.

Great sharing story Fr Chase, iam just like you but you not take long time to answer God role create for every human. Am auditor but when Lord said i want you to be my bride as nuns im run and moving forward my way, my plan and my study until 11 years Lord catch me agains and im ready answer Lord calling. Am now learning one of conggregation as postulant become a nuns.

I am alive, but i dont know why Im existing... I feel empty.
We've all been there trust me. The Lord just asks you to surrender evem the most dangerous and darkest of thoughts to Him. Trust in His Mercy. As a fellow brother, believe it when He says that are redeemed through Him. Read 2nd Corinthians 12 verse 9. It brings me a lot of strength and I hope it will give you some as well.

You never know if the person next to you will ever become a priest, nun, or someone special to minister the word of God. You never know if the person sitting next you, you will either marry or they will become someone famous. You may not talk to that person because they are ugly, not special to you, but they may be famous. Something special. I heard God is funny and mysterious.
