No small block Chevy in that gem, what a beautiful survivor that is.

Just so gorgeous. Never saw one before. Those wheels are impressive. Love survivors like this.

Hi Billy, Happy to read you enjoy this "Great car" :-) Lou
Boy is this shiny or what? Gosh, I can't say I have seen one this clean since a 1934 Showroom, I mean really there isn't a fault line on here. I just wish the tires were glossier like when they used to wax the ridge design on the outside of the white wall
Hi Art Deco city Architecture, Happy to read you enjoy the condition of this car :-) Lou
Outstanding!!!
Happy to read you enjoy this car :-)
Another great video, Lou. They don't build 'em like this one anymore.
Hi Jimbob, You're right about the way they build them. Appreciate the kind words on the video, Lou
A Bonnie and Clyde era car way before my time , in fact these V8 Fords were the cars that Clyde would prefer to steal during his time on the run.
Don't forget John Dillingers love of 1934 Ford V8's

@@loucostabile that is well worthy of high praise!
Great work Lou, I would love to drive that 34 Ford. The most stylish of the offings of Mr. Ford and his automotive production operations.
I prefer the four-door sedan. The radio antenna was the wire support in the soft roof.
The seat for the mother in law required the occupant to be certified by the board of back seat drivers.
Some drivers found the pull down shade useful on such occasions. A first for the Ford Dearborn Michigan plant. The paint stick an owner addition. The grey hound an add touch to crown the auto.
The carb could be jetted to the locals altitude for optimum air fuel mix. Just a bit lean before engine knock would give best economy, a bit rich before engine burble would give best power. They must have had auto spark advance by 34 but I would prefer manual choke and spark control. That way the driver can adjust himself. A hotter thermostat is best 180 ~ 190, hot engines, not to hot, perform best.
Cold engines condense water vapor and fuel to dilute crankcase oil. A nice clean cabin heater radiator and blower fan insures plenty of winter warmth.
That car would be a big hit in Gibsland Louisiana
Hi Bill Bright, Thank you for viewing and sharing your knowledge. Hope you see many more cars on the Channel you'll enjoy. Thank you for the "Great work Lou", it's encouraging, Lou
btw, the owner may have been nervous and meant to say that this level of the Model was only in the V8 because in 33 there was the 4 cylinder version too , but the info I saw for 1934 still had the i4 and V8 where FORD may have chose to keep the uniform as all 221 cid V8 flat heads.

@@loucostabile I'm reading a book I bought many years ago called Ford In The Thirties. So interesting about the development of the V8 back then! I will definitely be watching your channel.
A young person at the local store knew I liked old cars and had asked me what car I would own if I could only have one from the past .
This was the year and model ( 1934 5 window ) car he looked up on the internet but I wanted it as a sleeper with basic steel rims and a BOSS 302 matched to a 6 speed manual for highway driving but close ratio low end gears from 1st -3rd to pin you back in the seat in the city .
Dark blue or Black would be my colour choice .
Just a note . My dad told me that during the late dirty 30's with cars left all over the place with no money to fix them or afford the gas he and some other kids would take off the running board sections to be used a sleds in the Winter when he lived near the Vermont/Quebec border on the hilly farmland.
+Gary wood Hi Gary, Very detailed, nice. I hope you get yours soon. Take care, Lou

I dont know what the name of the seat in the rear is . Here in Sweden we call them, "Seat för Mother in law ".
Hi Thomas, A rumble seat (American English), dicky (dickie/dickey) seat (British English), also called a mother-in-law seat,[1] is an upholstered exterior seat which folded into the rear of a coach, carriage, or early motorcar. Depending on its configuration, it provided exposed seating for one or two passengers.
