You can access the rear cupholders by giving it a half press once it’s peeking out like it was in the video, it’s a 2 step process

The world has been changed and the cars are too expensive now. Same with new BMW 5 series. We have something which can be called hybrid system and makes the car price as a real E 350 they had before (w211, 212, 213) with 6 cylinder and they were amazing. But now rules have been changed 350 is just some numbers but under the hood you just get the f…..g 4 cylinder engine with “same horse power and torque” ecology ecology ecology everywhere.
Now it’s time to say from their side, you don’t like merc… then go and buy the f……g boring Toyota Camry……😂😂😂😂😂
There is no way to excuse the poor engines choice for that price. Fake exhaust, highly intrusive voice assistant that no one needs. At least it looks better than a 5-series. For the price though, a lot of Genesis products are superior and that should worry Merc and BMW

It does have cup holders in the rear, there’s a secondary release mechanism when you push the pen holder in that will cause the cup holders to come out. Clearly someone hasn’t been watching enough Doug Demuro quirks and features.

Quite a nice car, definitely a smoother option compared to the new 5 series.
And for the MBuX voice assistant, you can turn it off but it works better if it is connected via the app bc in its basic non-connected form it’s very limited
sucks that got rid of the e-class coupe and convertible. Those were amazing cars and I love my e550 convertible.
Nice job on Mercedes Benz e350. Fyi, the E53 is a six cylinder plug-in hybrid. I want the plug-in hybrid. Currently, the e300e or e400e is not scheduled to come to North America. Again, great job on the review. I like your down to earth approach. Thanks very much, Cevin 🙏🏾
The screens in e class are far better than the tablet trash in s class/other cars. Hopefully next years s class gets similar set up, because it’s horrible. Post COVID Mercedes (minus g class) are just not cutting it for me, but I’d still rather get a MB than other German cars. Lexus is still my go to after a couple GLCs

Idk I think ppl misunderstand the E class it tries to offer what the 213 did not have that is why the extreme change. So at the end you can still buy the 213 and sellers are happy of lower depreciation. If they removed everything different from 214 it is basically a facelift so instead of a facelift they went extreme bc the coming years are just not combustion friendly in all important markets .

I just bought a 24' Cadillac CT4 Sport 2.0 auto with the Onyx Package. It came with 19' wheels run flat tires and Brembo front calipers. I'm 6'4" and 68' with a bad back and I'll bet it's as hard to get in and out of that much more expensive Mercedes than my Caddy. I doubt I'll keep my Caddy )-;
Because your caddy is higher off the ground. Cars ain't really meant for tall guys. Trust me I know ... 6'6"😂
You have to half press that rear cup holder thing to get it to pop out, but it's definitely in there.

There is a keyword for the assistant. It's "Mercedes" or Hey Mercedes". However, it also has a auto listening function so every time it thinks your asking about something car related, its going to speak. You have to turn it off in the car settings. I fig the dealer you got it from would have mentioned this to you.

it does have cup holders that bit that sticks out on arm rest you push it in again 3/4 and it will pop out.

4 cylinder yes, but it drives like no other car. I have the e class convertible myself and it is a fantastic car, not cheap but worth the money.
With all the talk about ambient lighting and amazing displays, you never said how to turn on the heater. This is important when the weather gets cold.
You tell it to turn the temperature to 75 degrees. Easy.
The last gen looked soo much better and agressive compared to this new one, what happened to the front end🤢
Hah! The last generation is what everyone was waiting to be replaced - the weird bathtub look didn’t look aggressive at all.

@@evaristocorripio5434 Driving down the highway, this car is gorgeous (it’s only new to North America, having been in Europe since autumn). I also like the exterior of the Audi - it’s the interior where it looks like a Passat to me.
The 53 just got released and its an hybrid 6 cylinder. V8 won"t be available on the E-class

Personally - I don't much care for it. I recently purchased a 23 E350 and I am pleased with it. The extreme tech of the new one is just over the top (Selfie camera?). Also, not a fan of the front end - all that black plastic. The profile is nice though.
Unfortunately your 2023 lost a good deal of value when this model came out. By the way, look close - there’s a good deal of plastic on the front of yours, as well. Of course, the camera is optional and most people won’t order it. This is a bigger car than the 2023 model and isn’t only a face lift. The 2023 is nice, of course (I really don’t care for its bulbous profile and rear) but this is very, very nice. My special order E450 4-Matic arrives at the dealership the first week of May.

Don't like their curved lines to the front and plane engine wheels but exceptional torque with room for boosting 😈 and comfort at its finest.

There will be no more Mercedes V8s in the USA. Also interesting note, Mercedes will no longer make the Taxi version for the E-Class for Germany/Europe so taxi drivers will have to get by with VW and other makes.

As far as I know, no one is compelled to buy the super screen. I ordered my E450 with open pore maple with aluminum strips dash and matching console. $200 more than the super screen, which I have zero interest in.

Now I’m not that old but I clearly remember an E class being around $65k full spec….. $81k you have got to be kidding me…. Around 2006/07 $81k was S Class money. Sheesh now a base S class is $115k FOR A BASE MODEL .

The reason this new E-class floats (16:55) is because it had the air suspension package w/4 wheel steering.
Disagree with dis’ of E53, which has a more aggressive stance than E450 and is not the crazy E63 price and difficult to utilize muscle

You're totally fooling yourself if you don't think those gimmicky pop out DOOR handles aren't going to be a royal pain in the ass in cold weather climates. We can see people trying to warm them up with hair dryers to enter these cars in the dead of winter. BTW - not to bust your cajones but you're almost 40 and the torn jeans need to be retired. not sure what's going on man but the content has been extremely lackluster lately, compared to a few years back there has been a significant drop in quality, hope you are doing well.

The whole purpose of those exhaust tips is to get the exhaust away from the car. They're kind of fake on most cars but at least there attached. Their trying to appeal to young techies w/ all the technology but its too many things that go wrong jack up the price & frustrate people.

Motor is not terrible. They been using this 4 cylinder for a while and fake exhaust like come on its a luxury car. Mercedes not like it used to be but not a bad car at all
The motor is peppy and will keep you passing majority of the cars on the highway. The rest of the stuff is just whining from you. The camera is optional and used for things like video conferencing.
