Thank you for posting this fantastic Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons concert in its entirety. I'm from New Jersey and The Four Seasons are my all-time favorite musical group. Frankie Valli is a living legend and an absolute treasure. For him to continue to perform these shows and share this classic, timeless, music with his fans is wonderful. Since I can't get out to Las Vegas, being able to see this concert thanks to you is very much appreciated.
Eighty-nine years old!! Just amazing!! Thanks for posting this video, as I probably won't ever get to see him perform live! And the band and singers are just great!
A total legend. I'm sure he is 'singing' as well as anyone can at 89 years of age, but I'm also pretty sure what we're hearing is a recording. I totally agree. It's a shame that these 'aging rockers' can't just fade away and enjoy the fame they enjoyed 'back when'. check out the Rolling Stones. What happened ot "Sherry".
It's not great at all. It's sad and pathetic. I saw Paul McCartney still trying to recapture the adoration. He can't sing anymore. Who are their audience? Will they keep coming and paying to see these relics if we mount them after they die and stand them up like Barbie dolls?

I not only grew up with this music but came from the same town. As an 89 year old Man, the sound or singing doesn’t match him but one done years back. He could just about talk let alone sing and reach those high notes. Sorry, but he’s lip syncing.
Pure technology. Of course, it’s his voice you’re hearing. It’s him singing. Just not live, but, from recordings made over the years. At age 89, just being able to stand there and move his lips in time with his recordings is impressive. He doesn’t need the money, so, he must enjoy the audiences and performing.
My thanks to whoever posted this! I was able to see him, front row, at a large private party and got to meet him afterwards. (1990's). He is an amazingly nice person; humble beyond reason. To those below who don't think he is singing; you are incorrect. Watch videos of him over the decades. He has always sang this way. A high falsetto voice can not be achieved by opening your mouth wide. His falsetto is somewhat likened to voicing as ventriloquists sing. At his age here, it is amazing how great he sounds, and the fact that he can stand, and sing, and even hold a microphone that long is amazing. His catalog of songs is the best, and brings back the fondest memories of my youth. Thank you Frankie Valli for a lifetime of fantastic music.....

@@John_Michael2000 I have seen him perform a few years ago. I realize he is 89 but really I would not want to see this in person. Sad really. I give him credit for doing his " performance" but he is just a shell of his younger self. After watching this for a minute or two I realized he was not singing.
Pretty Baby, I watched very closely and he WAS singing. His group took over the BIG lyrics: I LOVE YOU BABY, if you notice and he closed his eyes. At 89 years old, he’s doing great.
I just saw him 11/29/23 count basi theater he was sadly 😢lip singing and he looked like he was going to fall a couple of times . Sooo sad to see him go out this way . The Man is an icon Period !! Time to close the curtain . He’s the Best . I give him sooo much for staying in it !! Sooo many years him giving us just so much love and best pure entertainment to his fans !!! 🥂🥂🥂❤️
@@robertnash3432 That is sad. Maybe it's not ALL the songs? My grandparents loved him and played the 4 Seasons music all the time, along with others in that era. I agree they should leave on a high note way before they're forced to lip sync. Poor Frankie. Neil Diamond bowed out gracefully before his Parkinson´s set in. He is another one I grew up loving and still do. His live concerts are the best!
If You Say so . I saw different . Listien I Never said he was disappointing…. he’s 89 YEARS OLD !! lol GOD BLESS HIM!! But it’s time for this great man to rest . Enjoy his life what ever time he has left with his grandchildren & loved ones !! Do you know what it takes to perform a show ? Any Show !! He’s booked till next year ! Traveling entertaining his fans God Bless I get it . But let this man spend his last precious moments with his love ❤️ ones !! Give to them for all that they lost because he gave to US!!! Do You get it now !! 🙏
Amazing! Love to see him still at it at his age & still has his voice at his age! This isn't lip synch as it shows in "Big Girls", he interacts with the audience & ya cant lip synch that! Incredible!!
To the contrary, go to the 35:25 mark when Frankie is singing "Tell Me" and lowers his microphone 2 seconds too long after the audience applauds him for switching to the falsetto.
❤ All this lipsyncing DOES NOT BOTHER ME. i have saw Him 2 times in 1 month and to get to SEE THIS ICONIC LEGEND IS AN HONOR!!!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Give the Man credit HE IS 89 AND STILL DRAWING CROWDS. CONCERTS
Yeah he's drawing crowds because no one knows he's lip synching. I mean he was great in his day, but is this fair to the fans? And is it any different than Mili Vanili. It would be one thing if he was a little more animated and actually acted like he's really singing. He brings the mic up to his face too slowly. He's reminding me of Mitch McConnell
@@randyjordan5521yeah he needs to take up fishing or some.other hobby. You wonder what the attendance would be if the lip syncing part was put on the ticket in large bold letters.
@@rickr2029 I would still go. He has hot back up singers and the music is great!!! Nothing like loud live music or pre-recorded.....whatever, I would still go!😂😂👍👍❤❤
@@bevacole that's great! With that logic, it devalues having talent and being honest to the fans. With that logic no need to hone your craft when you can fake and deceive. Of what Valli is apparently doing. I don't want my money to be a part of that. But if I knew the artist was 100% Live and with a fairly preserved instrument, then I'm there! There for talent and HONESTY!! 😅🤣🤪🤪😉😂
I don’t think he’s lip syncing. Check him out when he talks. It’s the same kind of lag and for sure it’s not lip sync when he talks! Don’t you think.? That said, these guys are the best. I saw Frankie when he performed in Austin in if I remember correctly, 2015. I actually thought he was not well when he performed at Bass. He seemed very tired and I was worried about him. So it is a blessing to see him still performing in 23. Without these guys, there never would have been Jersey Boys and I saw that 4 times from Vegas to Houston and more. You can never tire of this music and performances. God bless you, Frankie.
To GuitarGreat member. Regarding the fact that if you are videoing his show with an iPad or iPhone the speed of the visual is going to get to you much faster than the sound of the audio. The standard metric for the speed of light is that of light traveling in vacuum. This constant, known as c, is roughly 186,000 miles per second, or roughly 1 million times the speed of sound in air Whoever put this video on TH-cam did not have the equipment to sync the voice with the video portion
okay, yes he is a Legend, but this is really bad lip sync. I mean the mic is a foot away when he starts singing and the audio is perfect. No chance at his age he would have this tone to his voice and his mouth barely moves. But hey, it is what it is.
Same exact thing I noticed too.. I can only assume he might be having financial problems and needs to do this.. maybe a tax problem or maybe he's just broke.. who knows
and THAT folks, is how it's done. Unbelievable. A true legend who would blow so many 'would be's' off the stage, even at 89. Bravo Sir and thank you for a lifetime of wonderful memories.
I'm sure back in the he was quite the performer but those days have clearly been gone for a long time. He's clearly lip syncing and not even moving his mouth at the right time. Before some of you say. "He's not lip syncing." He's not? Then why does he still sound like a young man when he sings? That's impossible. The human voice changes over time.
Sad, very sad that some people making comments about how great he still sings, people, he's not singing, this happens when you get older, not only does your whole body get weaker and worse, but your voice goes too. But he had a great career for sure, can't take that away from him.
It's a Frankie Valli tribute, with Frankie in attendance but not performing. If there really is any doubt in your mind about this after hearing the difference in timbre in his recorded singing voice and his frail speaking voice, then you are officially hearing impaired. It's fine, as long as you know what you are gonna see.
I came to watch for fake singing due to tiktok but stayed for the great music. Turns out he sings this whole set; I stand corrected. Frankie definitely still has it .
Fantastic show ..if you don't like it don't go there are millions that do go and know Frankie ia a legend with 65 chart hits and 200 records sold..worth over 80 million gets 400,000 per show makes 10s of millions from Jersey Boys if you don't like it stay home and shut up..certainly better than many other groups..almost every artist uses backing tracks and over dubbibg..live and on recordings..Frankie has recently recorded a jazz album with new music and sounds amazing
I don't think people realize how hard it is for those backup singers to dance in sync like that while they sing at the same time. It's nearly impossible, and yet they do it and stayed generally sync'ed up
I saw him ten years ago at Sonoma state, after seeing John, Lloyd Young (the original Frankie in Jersey Boys) and saw the movie. I was thrilled and so glad i did!
Feel sad to see such a legend not being able to know his career has come to an end,Yes the old saying the show must go on,but the guy just lyp syncing and do not think he blinked once all the time he on stage, pretty scary actually, but Will always love his music and songs.
Sadly he can't even move his mouth to lip sync track. At 89 why bother making them few extra dollars performing live. He made all that money from Jersey Boys on Broadway already. Wouldn't he rather be on a boat in Key West and retire to fishing and sunning.
I just watched Frankie's Hollywood Walk of Fame event, also his 90th bday. He was very soft spoken, little energy when he spoke, and seemed to have a bit of a problem pronouncing full words. After seeing this, no doubt he's lip synching for many years now. No way he'd sound as good as he sounds in concert, he can barely speak full sentences w/o losing his breath. Still a national treasure though, and great songs too.
There was a time when lip sync and backing tracks to this level would cause public outrage. Now it seems every upstart young artist is doing it. Unfortunately its acceptable in todays society. That said, if it's alright to do now, this guy has earned his ability to exercise those musical liberties.
Nonsense, some singers still have it when they are older, and some singers their voices go to crap. Johnny Mathis , Frankie Avalon and this gentleman sound amazing, Paul McCartney, Frank Sinatra, not so much as they got older!
When an artist performs 5 days a week ! Two shows a night? Their lip syncing 😊. Make No Mistake! But people don’t really care as long as they see their Artist ? That’s A Fact !
He lip syncs everything. Sat 3 row from stage and watched him turn the mic on and off. Turned it on after the sings to talk to the audience then off when he “sang”.
Wow.. thats risky.. Usually when you turn off a wireless mic there is a a huge amount of feedback. The sound guys must have been right on top of that knowing exactly when he was going to stop talking
There comes a time in showbiz when it’s enough and then you hang up the microphone!! Sad to see , and hear a once great vocalist so totally old and really bad . He obviously needed ‘one more show for the money’ . His band and backup vocalists are Great and try to cover for him . Sorry , but I would ask for my money back if I went to this show!
Sorry you’re wrong about the mics ‘popping’ when switched on / off. I have been singing with Shure cordless mics for years ( not even top of the range ones) and they are Silent when switching on/off . Frankie certainly must have a top of the range mic but he still sounds decrepid and his age even when he speaks , his lip syncing is also So bad!
Loved Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons. Grew up listening to them and buying their albums. That said, it’s sad to see him struggling to move and clearly not really singing. I heard him actually sing about 5+ years ago and could tell he was having difficulty with the upper range. Not sure if I’d rather pay to watch him lip sync or watch an old video performance or just listen to their albums. I still love him and all that he’s done for the music world, but it’s probably time to hang up the mic. I say that sadly. Oh, forgot to add, my very first concert ever was The Four Seasons in 1969 at the Westbury Music Fair on Ling Island, NY. What a great show that was! 😎👍🏻
@@randyjordan5521 Agreed. I eluded to that. He was starting to lose it 20 or so years ago and you could tell as the years went on his ability to reach high notes became marginal to today where he barely can speak the words. No disrespect, he is 90 and I get that it’s normal. We will all miss the early days of Frankie’s career belting out sounds like no one else.
Yay. What a legend !!! I don't care if he lip synchs or has any " electronic " help... He is a legend and in the days of singers on a screen with a live band or a hologram , or young singers using auto tune or lip syncing as they dance around the stage or a old man showing signs of dementia with his hand on the button to destroy the world , a musical legend lip syncing is the least anyone should be thinking of. Great tunes , great band , great arrangements, no one is being forced to watch or listen or to buy a ticket !!
I Grew Up As A 70's Teen, But I Was Listening To 60's Music And Frankie Valli & Four Seasons Were My Favorite 60's Male Group😊👍 Although It's Not The Original Group, Frankie & These Guys Are Sure Doing A Fabulous Job!😊❤️👍 Sending Love From Chicagoland🤗💙👍
I am amazed at how good he still sounds. Other singers his age don’t sound good any longer. I know what the original recordings sound like. He is not lip synching.
Wow his voice is just amazing, I was at this show it was great to hear a Legend still singing like he's in his 20's, cost of tickets were high I wanted good seats well worth hearing that golden voice.
Saw him at Primm, just outside LV, a few years ago. He was fabulous. Still is. What's your favorite 4 Seasons song? Why? My choice: "Rag Doll." It's a good story.
This fella is from way before my time and is still out there making the effort doing shows. It's fairly obvious there is some use of pre-recorded tracks here but I mean, you are seeing a music icon from the 1960s perform live in the 2020s. Credit where it's due.
His mouth was moving a little but not along with the words (pre-recoded?) Still, at 89 what can you expect. In his heyday and in my youth this group "Frankie Valli & The Foreskins" were absolutely amazing! Sad now though watching him.
LOL, «Frankie Valli & The Foreskins»(though I doubt there is much foreskin to brag about, hahaha)… 😂 I agree, at 89, what can youy expect? When I found this, I was thinking «When are people going to retire?»… It is amazing that he is doing a 90 minute show at 89, but I’m not sure if it really is that good of an idea - even if I do think people there had a good time. It was probably entertaining though even if he lip synced. At least he lip synced to his own voice, I don’t think he had someone sing for him, as someone mentioned. He was just not singing it right then and there, LOL. It could be older, but maybe he just did record it over a few days or he could at least take his time… The band and the other singers were great, I think… I could have done without that much choreography for the singers though, LOL… Oh well, Bless Him and The Foreskins (ooops, Four Seasons) too! Happy Holidays! ❤🎄❤🎄❤
Love the guy and his music which has given me so much pleasure in my 69 years on this earth.

Pretty Baby, I watched very closely and he WAS singing. His group took over the BIG lyrics: I LOVE YOU BABY, if you notice and he closed his eyes. At 89 years old, he’s doing great.
No he was not singing
It's fake and you're gullible
Yes, he does make mistakes too. He is singing, there are posts from people in the front row of his concerts.
To the contrary, go to the 35:25 mark when Frankie is singing "Tell Me" and lowers his microphone 2 seconds too long after the audience applauds him for switching to the falsetto.
I agree with you. Please ignore all lip-sync troll posts and replies.
Pretty amazing...great band also....why ever stop....
happy to see that he's still at it.
Iv'e loved this guy forever...What a legend!
Obviously lip syncing but who cares! Some great music from a legend. Impressive at 89 he is standing up😊
❤ All this lipsyncing DOES NOT BOTHER ME. i have saw Him 2 times in 1 month and to get to SEE THIS ICONIC LEGEND IS AN HONOR!!!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Give the Man credit HE IS 89 AND STILL DRAWING CROWDS.
His net worth is $80 million. One wonders why he still performs. I'd spend my time in the hot tub and getting massages.
God Bless Frankie Valli and his music!
Lovely
This is BRUTAL
Sad, actually.
its pathetic
You know what they say "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". This one escaped...
This constant, known as c, is roughly 186,000 miles per second, or roughly 1 million times the speed of sound in air
Whoever put this video on TH-cam did not have the equipment to sync the voice with the video portion
okay, yes he is a Legend, but this is really bad lip sync.
Lip-syncing is "how it's done?" 🤔
I'm sure back in the he was quite the performer but those days have clearly been gone for a long time. He's clearly lip syncing and not even moving his mouth at the right time. Before some of you say. "He's not lip syncing." He's not? Then why does he still sound like a young man when he sings? That's impossible. The human voice changes over time.
Glad he’s still out there doing so well
So well, this is an embarrassement!
I am, too. Please ignore the obnoxious troll who posted above me.
Sad, very sad that some people making comments about how great he still sings, people, he's not singing, this happens when you get older, not only does your whole body get weaker and worse, but your voice goes too. But he had a great career for sure, can't take that away from him.
I love him & will watch him forever❤❤❤❤❤
It's a Frankie Valli tribute, with Frankie in attendance but not performing. If there really is any doubt in your mind about this after hearing the difference in timbre in his recorded singing voice and his frail speaking voice, then you are officially hearing impaired. It's fine, as long as you know what you are gonna see.
The Mayor of Munchkinland!!!!!
Is Phil Leotardo at this venue? Because I won't sing in the same room as that man.
A masterpiece that needs to be preserved! Rock On! Frankie.
It's nearly impossible, and yet they do it and stayed generally sync'ed up
Yea espically when the lead singer is not singing
@@cudfoo1cudfoo247 it looked like he was
@@cudfoo1cudfoo247 Was he not singing the mistakes too?

Frankie and the band are obviously singing and playing along with pre-recorded backing tracks.
The band is live, frankie is not
I saw him ten years ago at Sonoma state, after seeing John, Lloyd Young (the original Frankie in Jersey Boys) and saw the movie. I was thrilled and so glad i did!
Excellente Frankie, I would love to see you in Vegas!
He was fabulous. I flew out to Vegas specifically to see him. It was an honor to do so and I enjoyed every minute as I'm sure you would as well :)
Amazing how great he still sings and give him credit, standing on stage for 90 plus minutes is not easy
Sorry to break it to you. but he's lip synching... His voice was gone years ago. You're paying just to see him standing there
@@John_Michael2000 worth every penny

Agreed! I believe they’re coming out with a new movie called weekend at Frankies!
Saw 9 times. And met❤❤❤❤❤
The backup singers look like a parody off of the old SCTV show!
God bless 🙌 🙌 🙏 ❤ 💖 ✨ ♥ 🙌 🙏 this man!!!
This guy is such a legend. I grew up listening to him cause he's all my mom listened to.
The Pride of my hometown
Newark NJ 🇮🇹💚🤍❤️
It’s Frankie Vanilli, except it wasn’t a malfunction at 37:27 he just forgot to lip sync!
Very obvious, I have been to one of his shows
You are 100 % correct. So sad that an icon has to keep going just for the sake of it.
@@davidsouthcott1564 It's very possible he needs the money.. Maybe a tax problem or he could be broke
Good catch!!! Lolol 😂😂😂
. I hardly doubt he has money problems.
Great Band and Singer and Great Show
There was a time when lip sync and backing tracks to this level would cause public outrage. Now it seems every upstart young artist is doing it. Unfortunately its acceptable in todays society. That said, if it's alright to do now, this guy has earned his ability to exercise those musical liberties.
Almost 90 and he can still perform and still sounds good.
Because he is lip syncing.
Nonsense, some singers still have it when they are older, and some singers their voices go to crap. Johnny Mathis , Frankie Avalon and this gentleman sound amazing, Paul McCartney, Frank Sinatra, not so much as they got older!
oh please it so obvious i saw hi m that same week and it was noticed by me and those around us.....@@Bela-ko9ss
Lip syncing 100% 😂. He’s a 100 ? What do you want? Keep fooling Yourselves!
When an artist performs 5 days a week ! Two shows a night? Their lip syncing 😊. Make No Mistake! But people don’t really care as long as they see their Artist ? That’s A Fact !
Therez noone like frankie valli ever hes iconic and his voice never changed
Because he's lip-syncing to a recording of himself.
Because that's a recording from YEARS ago!
I agree with you. Please ignore the lip-sync trolls who posted above me.
Saw him in 1976 at Washington park, Illinois . My favorite of his lps is “ Our Day Will Come “
He lip syncs everything. Sat 3 row from stage and watched him turn the mic on and off. Turned it on after the sings to talk to the audience then off when he “sang”.
I believe so I was watching his lips it’s such a shame though his voice is unlike anyone I know
Wow.. thats risky.. Usually when you turn off a wireless mic there is a a huge amount of feedback. The sound guys must have been right on top of that knowing exactly when he was going to stop talking
I'm just glad he's still kicking. You won't be lip synching at his age. Why? You aren't going to live that long.
I don't think Frankie has done the falsetto parts in decades. His backup singers did that.
Very good !
The Fabulous Frankie Valli😊👍💙

Amazing and doing great at 89. Hope I will be as good as him if I reach that age.
I am amazed at how good he still sounds. Other singers his age don’t sound good any longer. I know what the original recordings sound like. He is not lip synching.

This fella is from way before my time and is still out there making the effort doing shows. It's fairly obvious there is some use of pre-recorded tracks here but I mean, you are seeing a music icon from the 1960s perform live in the 2020s. Credit where it's due.

No, that's not Frankie's live voice but he does sing along with his live group and gives a great show!
89 años mis respetos , increible como esos grandes cantantes de antes sigan como si nada
Nice to see Frankie standing on a stage however the miming lip sync needs more rehearsal time before trying to pull this big show off.
Boy does he sound Great and looks Great!
