Frankie Valli was enjoying himself he talked to the crowd and made a few jokes. But clearly he was lip-synching it was easy to see since I was in the ninth row. But he just can’t sing anymore at his age I think he’s now almost 90 or will turn 90 soon. I was still worthwhile to go see the concert for sure. This is Bob in Connecticut. Yes, I saw Frankie many times the first time when I was a kid at freedom land in New York, right after ragdoll came out. My favorite song is I’ve got you under my skin and he would usually end his concerts with that song his 5 1/2 octave range that was truly awesome.. he is one of the best ever a true rock ‘n’ roll legend a true icon

While in today's music industry this has become the norm among vocalists, Valli had a remarkable range for the time, easily hitting high notes without his voice breaking. I went to see him a few years ago, I think he was 80yrs old, he was phenomenal. Im pretty sure he didnt lipsync. He also did a lot of the dance moves with his backup singers. His voice was full and rich and his stamina was amazing. Really glad I got to see him at least once.

He's a legend and I love him. However, the amount of people who don't accept that he's lip-synching is mind-boggling. I saw him from the fifth row in Norfolk. He pulled the mic down several times and the voice track just kept going. Sometimes he'd have the mic to his mouth and it wasn't moving with the lyrics...he has a button to push on his mic for when he starts to speak. There are numerous videos on TH-cam proving he's been using these same vocal tracks for 20+ years. Y'all are delusional if you think this is live. I'm still glad I drove four hours to see him though, we stan a legend.
I just saw him in San Jose California on November 12, 2023. I kept trying to look close to see if he was lip-synching but I couldn’t tell because I know he’s never really opened his mouth very much anyway. It didn’t even really matter because the concert was fabulous. I’m so glad I got to see him and everyone in person because I don’t think there’s going to be many more concerts. It’s obvious he’s slowing down, but still fantastic.

It's lip sync. His mic has a thumb switch to make it live for spoken parts. The vocal recording is at least 20years old and is digitally enhanced - you can hear it's been pitch-corrected and massively EQ'd.

I can’t imagine how boring this must be for the performers. I was sitting fairly close with binoculars and couldn’t really tell if he was lip syncing, but if I had to bet I’d say a the least he had lots of vocal help.
