    was there any specific websites you used to get information about careers cause I'm struggling to find the right information?

      You could look at indeed.com or the college of optometrists websites.

    How do I write a personal statement without much work experience in general

      talk about any practical science experience or extracurricular things you do and how the skills you’ve developed form it relate to skills of an optom or optom student! I had zero optical work experience

    Hey, could you make a video on tips specific for Optometry interviews and questions?

    I hoping to apply for optometry after the half term holiday. Would it be possible if I email my personal statement to you so you can have a look at it and let me know what you think?

      All the best for application! I do not check personal statements personally but you could ask your tutor at school to check for you.

    hey, what a levels would you recommend if considering optometry

      Really just choose what ever is required for apply for the course (2 science subjects) and then a course that you enjoy. As long as you do well in all of them it should work out fine. There are a lot of physics in optom but you don’t need to do alevel physics at all!

      One thing I’d like to add is if u want reduced offers then maybe do all 3 sciences so biology, chem, physics, maths or I think maybe physiology as well becusee doing all 3 sciences can get u reduced offer like at Aston university. Chekc the entry requirements for unis for optometry to get a better idea, ofc only choose subjects u liek and you think Ull be good at rather than forcing urself to do a subject for a reduced offer and have a miserable time studying it. Hope that helps!:)

      @@bismahahmed8164I’ve checked some unis, most just say 2 sciences but I don’t know what to do for my 3rd A Level. Thanks for the help

      I would recommend asking your school, but one that most people got and is used after university is Clinical Procedures in Primary Eye Care E-Book: Expert Consult: Online and Print by Elliot!

    So can I become an optometrist without doing science as major in high school

    • @khiaraisabelle
      @khiaraisabelle  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It depends on the uni requirements that you can find on the ucas website but their most important grades would be your alevels

      @@khiaraisabelle I did Art's subjects for my Alevels. So does it means I can't do Optometrist

    • @khiaraisabelle
      @khiaraisabelle  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Chanbro4 well some unis do a prelim year (foundation for those who did not do the required alevels to get into first year), they may only require alevel biology out of the three. Please check UCAS for the unis that do this to find what best suits you.
