I traded my friend a $100 Sunday wheel for this and I absolutely love this hub rim combo it is exactly what I've been wanting for years and now knowing it has external adjustment makes it 3000x better than what I every expected, i paided $50 for my bike and its now worth $500+ just from trading parts, i have maybe $80-90 into it currently

I buy the Park Tool Polylube 1000 PPL-1 for this hub, nose fits the hole perfect and lets you get good pressure to fill the hub to get things running smooth again, no jolt, pop or noise. I found getting some pressure at to the flow of the grease just so much easier, hope this helps. Had all the same issues of pop/click/snap from the coaster (I take it the grease was minimal or dried out in storage on a new hub, great product, G-Sport for the win! I been through 3 freecoaster before this, they all blew up, great design G!
my drive side colar snapped once already and it was a bi*ch to get put, the even when my wheel was put on my driver was wobbling side so side causing the clutch to slip of the guide noches of the resistance mechanism which also was a bi*ch to find out how to fix it i ended up adding some spacer between the non drive side bearing and the slack washers now its not moving but my gap is smaller even when loosened all the way, at least my hub works again hope it was helpful
I know this is an old video but I'm having an issue with my V2. When I tighten drive side it's like it's compressing the driver and won't allow it to turn.
i just got this with a complete ive been searching for a drive side hub guard and relized they dont make one for this..... shiiiiit whos running what for drive side???? need serious answer
Cinema external plastic guards work great. I use one on each side and don't bother with built in hub guards. It has a metal insert where you tighten it down, and it's only 10 bucks each.
I just rode mine for the first day and it kept clicking after i would stop pedaling forward and it also engaged a few times when i was riding fakie. Do i need to adjust the slack on it and give it some more? right now i havent touched it. Or do i need to take it apart and have the internals greased?
+Jacob_Mellberg i contacted odyssey a few days ago because i experience the same problem and they told me to take the hub apart and grease it thoroughly. they also said that it is not affecting the functuality of the coaster, it just sounds shitty haha

@@thestillwells5118 Mine came out from me screwing it in too far, but was sitting in between the interlocking plastic internals that are visible when looking through the adjustment hole. I though I broke the brand new coaster, but eventually used a set of tweezers to recover the little hex key bolt. Did you lose it by removing it, or screwing it too far inward?
@@thestillwells5118 It may still be inside your coaster. Without knowledge of the actual length of the bolt, I did the same thing. My bolt was sitting between the interlocking plastic parts of the coaster. I found it by rotating the coaster, then used tweezers to remove it. I thought I broke my freecoaster at first.
@@thestillwells5118 At an almost $200 price tag, I was pissed about my mistake of just fiddling with the bolt. I was trying to figure if I could find something to serve the same purpose as the bolt in Home Depot because I wasn't trying to order something so tiny and inexpensive.

This doesn't have the g-sport name it's an odyssey product made by odyssey g-sport's engineers aren't in the same building
is there a lifetime warranty since the driver wearings should never ever ever break?

What’s the difference between the clutch v1 and v2 and clutch pro?
after 6 months my odyssey clutch hub is making alot of clicking and weird sounds while coasting. also the hub wobbles a bit too
Any ideas why a clutch v2 would make crunching noises when peddling forward ?
I have this on my sunday street sweeper 2021 and i have no noise On a skatepark its hard cus nobody hears you coming. Over all i love this hub

DONT BUY THIS HUB IF YOU LIVE IN THE UK AS THEY DONT STOCK THE DRIVE SIDE COLLAR THAT ALWAYS SNAPS!! left me with a £250 that i cant even ride.
