@@faceymagee1283 I'll rephrase it, as you missed the point. If a player is fast, thats fine. But the ball has to be played in front of her , so she can use her speed to out run the defenders. If she does that on her own, she might have 2 or 3 defenders to deal with and no support. Even being fast, she needs good ball control, or she'll lose it. Good dribbling skills to get past players. Good vision to see another player to pass to ...... Speed ' on its own ' isnt everything. That clearer ?

Funny thing! A family friend graduated high school with her and said she very stuck up! She was a teacher favorite and graduated with a perfect 4.0. The friend said impossible bc she was gone a lot fulfilling national team commitments. She also said they would hang out a lot in elementary and middle school but things changed when they got to high school.
Quite honestly, when Mallory gets back, I don't know how anyone in the world can stop the women up top on the USWNT. Mallory, Sophia, Trinity, Alyssa, Jaedyn, etc, etc, etc. They are crazy good up top. How is it possible Colorado Real puts out so many world class soccer players? (Mallory, Sophia, Jaelin)

@@winger0611-jl If you have sat back and pulled the other team from their defensive position. If they have parked the bus, and you are passing it around the area, waiting for a gap , speed will get you nowhere. If they fire vlatko and some players , pugh and smith could be the future of this team. There are other players on other national teams just as fast and deadly as pugh. Its know when you use them that counts :)
Her goal scoring skills were sorely missed in the 2023 WWC. She was the difference maker the team needed.

Swanson is better than Morgan as of rn even when she's injured. Morgan cannot shoot anymore and she cannot dribble. Her pace is very harsh to watch and even with Smith (Who's a very good winger) she ends up missing her hard passes. Need someone else up there to save us.

@@I_Have_The_Most_Japanese_Music What’s the OG? Do you mean the Olympics? It’s a possibility. Full recovery from her injury usually takes a year, and it happened last April. Of course, she’ll have to return to full fitness, as well.
