Whenever the pair of you go silent while tasting that first bite, I'm reminded of once having had lunch at the original Arthur Bryant's, in Kansas City. It was my only restaurant experience in which the crowded room was so quiet, it was eerie. Every diner was so deep into his or her own 'experience', conversation was superfluous.

That's the best complement a cook can get is to just have silence right after serving the food! (I always worry though that people don't want to say anything bad about the food!)....LOL!!!

@@HowToFeedaLoon In my view, anyone who would complain about 'the food' has never experienced prolonged hunger ~ and it shows. No one has ever complained about whatever meal I put under their nose but if they did, I'd have to say ~ "Please, DO tell me how YOU would have prepared this dish. I'm all ears."

Thank you - I adore watching your videos here in France - just an fyi as I used to live in Bangkok where I ate alot of pad thai and (much) more: chopsticks aren't traditional for Thai cuisine - usually a fork and spoon ( fork NEVER in the mouth, only the spoon) are used. Sawadee Kah! Josie

That looks so delicious. I love Asian dishes. I use chili garlic sauce for amazing flavor and heat. Fresno chilies are also good in Asian dishes. I love spicy!!!
