I'm so happy I found this video. I started p90X nine weeks ago and I'm loving. I can't say enough about how much I love working out with Tony Horton. I love his personality and the way he makes any hard workouts less intimidating. God bless you Tony!
I'm on my 53rd day of P90. I've lost 24 lb so far. I need to lose something like 100-150 more to get to my goal. And god damn it feels good to be on the way!
What a delightful & powerful video! I have come here from starting with a free video he made for obese people.. it is accessible & compassionately mindful of the issues large people face, but also fun & humorous, as seems his style. I up the intensity by increasing the reps & using higher weights, & just today added afterwards my first walk/ jog around a coupla blocks. I've lost nearly 10% of my body weight, & previously the jogging would have been too hard on my joints. Thanks Tones!
I started P90X in 2006, and it has been one of my best investments. My body was transformed for better. I still use it 2-3 times a week , the rest I go to lift weights at the gym. I and fitter than ever
My 1st word - regenerative Second word- enthralled *raises hand for everything except the more physically flexy part You sir don't look a day over 35 Your energy is overwhelming but awesome! Thanks for being an inspiration of good health and good energy. Stay positive ! :)
5:28 No. 1 first law of exercising and eating right is *Variety.* The more you do, the better you get, the faster your results, and the less likely you’ll get hurt, you’ll get bored, or you’ll plateau. You’ll always continue to grow and get better. Tony is more physically fit at 54 than he was at 14, 24, 34, or 44. 6:25 No.2 is *Consistency* - exercise 5-7 days/week for the rest of your life. Should be like brushing your teeth and should be who you are. 7:00 No. 3 is *Intensity* - you have to always up the anté. That’s how you grow. Push the envelope and track your progress. 7:38 Stop eating food with salt, sugar, and chemicals (processed foods). When you eat like crap, you feel like crap.
guess again, i'm 6 foot tall, weigh 175 pounds, and eat better than most, i just don't like the workin out, plain and simple, although i do take lots of meds for anti-seizure reasons and they tend to make you tired, so it is harder to maintain any kind of energy on a daily basis, and it IS boring, but, you keep on keepin on Mr. genius
One of my heroes. He helped changed my life with P90X and P90X2. After he said arms up at 9:47, I seriously thought he was going to say “rabbit rabbit 🐇 “ like in Plyocide.
i wanna say the same speech for my seminar :(. i have it day after tomorrow. is there a way out? i can't type every word by pausing and then continuing it. is there other video which has subtitles ?
YES great presentation here by Tony, hats off to him! 1 question: What is your # obstacle to getting fit? Problem I hear from my coaching clients is they were surrounded with unmotivated people who do NOT want you to succeed nor get better because they will feel more like a loser & or they need some accountability. I am offering 5 FREE spots for my small group metabolic fat loss coaching. This is motivated people who need to lose over 25 lbs & who are action-takers and ready for success via my Metabolic Motivation coaching. Next step?.... Tell me WHY you want to do this & your biggest obstacles. We will select 5 people to start Dec1. This is all on line. Ready?..... best, Dan
Explain to me then how my grandfather died at the age of 102 drinking alcohol and smoking like a chimney until the day he died......I think exercise is fine but most people I know with problems in the knees etc are people take it to the extreme.
this has been proven wrong, if you run over 3 miles a day more then 3 days a week it can actually have a back effect. it is like a U shape, you need to find a middle balance not to little and not to much to see best results in the long run, there was a man who use to run 100 mile races and dies of a heart attack at 55 from over working his heart
key is high intensity interval training. not only do you give your heart and muscles more time to recover by simply working out for smaller periods of time, but you also preserve more muscle mass at the same time burning more fat. Marathon runners don't have that toned look most people go after. if you ask me, they look quite unhealthy and far too nimble. I assume they have poor joint health as well. All this in my opinion can set you up for long term fatigue and less likeliness to be a consistent athlete. In which case, increases chances of heart attacks.
8:39 , well i would say that you *should* care, because being vegan can help save animals lives, and animals go through lots of suffering at farms. You should care, and you should be vegan!

I love vegan desserts from Whole Foods Market.
Thanks for the input Gail! I hope you enjoy your vegan desserts while you still can.
You're pushing yourself too hard or you're ridiculously overweight and unfit. My guess is its the latter
he looks so old here
all working out does is make you wanna puke, evn if you do it for months, at least that's my experience
