When people ask me what my favorite song of all time is, it's always Inspector Norse. There's something about driving fast down a highway at 3AM listening to Todd Terje. I was driving to see a lover I hadn't seen for 3 years at 3AM, and the song was just the cherry on top. It's three parts joy one part nostalgia, and it always hits me like a truck. The whole experience was surreal.

I'm pretty sure it's Todd's second most popular song he made. It's just behind 'Inspector Norse' and both are so fucking good to bop to.
Well here i am again, listening to the best live show out there. I'm still baffled at the emotions this performance arouses in me. Joy, nostalgia, melancholy, optimism, ecstasy. It would seem that Todd Terje has truly mastered the power of music. What a concert. Wow.

Cannot believe how well this was mixed and performed. Unreal how well this sounds so good.

Saw more or less this same set at Pitchfork 2015. The dancers, bongos, that drummer- it was all there.Took acid, then drove eight hours and ended up on the beach.
Realized that I watched the whole thing in 480p... sweet! now I can watch it again in 720p!

Alfonso Muskedunder was the best one. Everyone just having a good time and the drummer solo was identical to the album. Everything is! Wish i was there

this is a direct progression from Jean Michel Jarre and even back to paul hardcastle and mike oldfield, he's on a level with the classical great composers at the moment, would love to see him and derrick mays orchestral redition of strings of life on the same night :D

Just lovely. I was smiling throughout the whole set. So honest in a deliberately cheesy way. Todd has been releasing cuts for more than a decade. It's great to see he finally receives the recognition he deserves.

Todd terje. Un nome, una garanzia in live con il suo gruppo di strumentisti. L'insieme di suoni che si ricrea rende i brani quasi nuovi all'ascolto, variazioni inaspettate che anticipano i brani stessi stuzzicando l'orecchio dell'ascoltatore attento. Di colpo ci si ritrova nel brano completato di effetti di strumenti dal vivo. La presa sul pubblico c'è!

You must know a lot of electronic artists. I don't, but I have the general idea that the vast majority of this type of shows and DJ sets basically consists on pressing play and adjusting EQs, volumes of individual elements, maybe a scratch here and there. Am I wrong?
Todd Terje's show has real musicians playing real music over pre-recorded elements.
Thats where you are wrong kindo. This isnt something new, vocalists have their own backing vocals AS WELL as lip syncing. The most basic as press play dance/rave DJ just goes there to drink and dance. A lot of producers shine in their production work over their live performances. As someone who is like that myself I do try to incorporate more live elements into my music (such as keyboards, drum machines, ect).
Even though I have 5-6 years of trombone under my belt and can read sheet music clearly am I less of an artist for not being able to do much in a live situation compared to in the studio? :|
They must have gotten a soundcheck for this festival because this is really outstanding!

Storytime: pitchfork festival chicago 2016: I got tickets to the festival on the bus (clutch), then was enjoying the festival all day. We noticed Todd Terje was playing. I knew Inspector Norse, so I'm like Ye lets scope this MF. Little did I know it would be the greatest live set of my life! My friend and I were just leaning the fuck back on a huge tree ass the Todd Terje band playing. It dont get much better than that

I once went to a Slagsmalsklubben concert. Same vibes, not one shit was given that night. They casually came onto the scene to have fun with a bunch of people who just so happened to be there too. They were the biggest bunch of nerds I ever saw and we loved every bit of it. Highly recommend the track Hant for similar vibes to Inspector Norse.
