There's something so satisfying about watching people draw on these videos - I don't how they do it so perfectly. Also everything is so well explained and colour coordinated, you even add in things like the reason behind the name of something. Thank you Khanacademy you have taught me so much 💛 Wish people would complain a bit less it's obvious you can't cover everything in one video
This can't be taught in a better way. After years of being exposed to the more detailed forms of cascades related to coagulation, I was still struggling with the main ideas and logic behind this process, and now its much clearer, thanks to you.
@@matveisoykin4182 that is so not possible i mean even if you were just brushing through the chapter you can by max go till 1.5... that is what i used. And i have done this chapter already to a deeper level, i was just brushing through it.
Wonderful presentation of a very complex system. The hematologists of the world can go much deeper, of course, but targeted towards an entry-level allied health student, your presentation is right on the money! And the drawings are great!
Thank you so much for this video. It's simple and easy to understand! Is it possible if you can make a video and explain how the venom (like from snakes) prefends our blood from clotting?
I was just reading Michael Denton, the I.D. proponent, on the ennucleate red blood cell, which he says is a defining homolog of class mammalia and was the topic of his doctoral thesis.
My understanding is that it's not older plaque that causes heart attacks, but newer clots. The cap breaks off, and the body retries to cap the cap causing a bigger clot, and restricting the flow of blood to the heart (If it happens in the coronary arteries).
Im so confused now Blood clot is when a blood turned into solid or rbc is merging with each other While the other blood cloth is when a endothelial cell split up that forms a whole in blood vessel is also called as blood clot? Huhu plss help are they the same from the first one

one word that could sum this whole thing up: BEAUTIFUL! beautifully delivered! Thank you!
I just want to say a massive thankyou, Your videos are pulling me through my Med degree at the moment. Well done and keep it up.
this was way too general for the scope of medical school but I'm grateful for the clarity.
yup i agree
You have a very calming voice and I love the way you explain things. Thank you.

god bless u for teaching it in a perfect way
This by far the best, most clear, and most helpful video I have seen on this subject - perhaps on any physiology subject I have seen. Thank you!
You just spoke about platelets

Simplistic and excellent approach. Just revised concept read 8 year ago.
Khan Academy can I just get my MD from you?
Add more video about coagulation with intrnsic n extrinsic factor
Best video I've seen on this topic thus far
Just a teeny tiny error: that's a longitudinal section, not a cross section
But overall nice job :D
Very interesting. I loved the drawings he used to describe the clotting mechanism. 5/5
Thankyou and god bless u in explaining this concept very clear..
BROTIP: Play it at 1,25 speed ;)
So helpful!!!!!
I like to play it at 2x speed

@@matveisoykin4182 Btw your youtube videos are really cool!!
1.75 is good tho
For a video that has 400k views i'm surprise it only has 80 comments
THANK YOU!!! This made the last week of coagulation lecture so much more understandable!
I expected more sofisticated explanation, but you define the basics incredible easy, awesome, really genius
thanks you ! This video makes it easier for me to understand coagulation !
Nice vid, i will never see it again
Best presenter about this topic so far! :D

Thanks for perfectly explaining this to me
This man is not Sal. But still he is a good teacher. Thank you a lot.
Lovely and solid explanation thank you!
thank you!! this was so helpful!
Fantastic delivery
Beautiful Video!!!!!!!! I have a great understanding...A better understanding.. I love how you put your videos together
Very practical you see more clearly thé clinical évents of bleeding and Blois clotting
mandatory viewing prior to tackling pages of Robbins
Thank you so much for this video. It's simple and easy to understand!
Is it possible if you can make a video and explain how the venom (like from snakes) prefends our blood from clotting?
This video really helped me
You skipped thromboplastin and prothrombin and just went straight to thrombin. Which sucks because that's the part I wanted to know about
+TheCrazyMango82 watch the clotting 2 video. i think this was meant to be more of an introducton to the topic
You already know it don''t you?
this is sooo helpful. thanks
nice explanation
again thank you. great video.
Thank you for your information I had now ideal that's how the blood works. So thank you.
You are the best! teacher ever! :d
THANK YOU
sick vids man learnt so much
cool, basically the endothelial cell is reconstructed?
thank you soo much
Through thrombin secreted by platelets. Converts fibrinogen into fibrin
Thank you! 👏🙌
What is the final step in clot formation?
I was just reading Michael Denton, the I.D. proponent, on the ennucleate red blood cell, which he says is a defining homolog of class mammalia and was the topic of his doctoral thesis.
Dose the fibronectin is the same of the fibrinogen??
Did he mention anythn abt loose & stabilized fibrin meshworks?
My understanding is that it's not older plaque that causes heart attacks, but newer clots. The cap breaks off, and the body retries to cap the cap causing a bigger clot, and restricting the flow of blood to the heart (If it happens in the coronary arteries).
Fibrinogen is from liver
Fibrogen stabilizing factor - factor XII helps in cascade
This video is ammmmmmmmmazing 😍😍😍
I wish if you can put the Arabic language with the captions of your videos ☹️💔
Epic!
Great:)
Watch in x1.50 or 1.75
Im so confused now
Blood clot is when a blood turned into solid or rbc is merging with each other
While the other blood cloth is when a endothelial cell split up that forms a whole in blood vessel is also called as blood clot? Huhu plss help are they the same from the first one
How do we keep blood clots from moving thru our veins, I’m having clots all the time
what software do you use?
Wow amazing what Jesus can design ! So incredible !!!
nice!! But So slow.........
rutvik rana true actually its so slow man
Go to crash course :v
i thought RBC lack nuclei

Stop commenting so much. You need to comment once.
Why not, explain blind spots-- surgery aspect? Because; you didn't study!
Or you can just say clotting factors that are 13 of them lol
Beautiful lecture. But its not evolution that created us, It's God Almighty (The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob). Stop the ignorance!!
Stop the stupidity.
Super helpful! Thank you!
