These are the coolest kind of videos. I like how thorough you are with everything keeping everything clean and using all of the proper methods and techniques. Great work as always man!
@ it’s hard to say. It’s out of a truck, so the gearing is shorter. Which means the gears have more teeth than a stock Miata. At least the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. 4th gear is still the same ratio
ive torn apart my 93 transmission, fluid didn't look good, but shifted through the gears just fine, no engine, and mine has that same slop you talk about @ 15:30 but I'm not seeing any problems with any synchro's, I wonder what you suggest moving forward. theres almost no videos on people tearing down these things let alone diagnosing issues.
@@milleniumjademr2 that’s very interesting. If all the gears shift good, it’s probably fine. Run a good quality trans fluid. With a 93, that should only have single synchros. In 94, ford bought out Mazda and upgraded to dual synchros which tightened up the transmission and improved shifting.
Nice one bro 👍
@@frias2287 thanks!

Very nice video. Is the b2000 gearset stronger?
