I’m 16. Unfortunately it seems all too common for people in our day and age to “brush off” kids becoming more serious in relation to Christ. “They can do it when they get older,” they say, or “enjoy being kids,” they say. This thinking is extremely destructive to the spiritual life of the child, and raising that child to live in Christ makes it much easier for him to do so later in life, Lord willing. As stated in 1 Timothy 4:12, its never too young to start. Also consider Matthew 19:13-15. How relative that story is!

It's sad how much I strayed away, I've been sad every time I stop really seeking God like I used to. I get depressed but when I'm with God I get happy but when I look at something else then I get more into that then I start falling away again. I just hope this doesn't happen again because I want to have a deep relationship with the lord he keeps doing so many things in my life to get me back on track and I finally realized how I'm nothing without the lord I'll always be depressed if I'm not with him. From now on I'll be seeking God and God only.
Then don't let it happen again. Am so sorry that happens to you but declare in the name of the Lord that the last time it happened is indeed the last time it did. Read the Bible. A loooot. Because that way, you are communicating with God. So it'll be kinda hard for you to fall out again.
I've become calmer. I pray to God to help me focus on him. I've been doing that. I've grown in many of these. I still have work to do. But I'm still a work in progress!! 😃

i’m 15 years old and i’m trying to grow spiritually. I’ve always believed in God since I was 7 but this year 2021 is the first year i’ve started trying to be living in a way of a christian. A thought popped in my mind earlier this year“ I want to learn more about God and create time to get to know him” . so now I can say i’ve moved from being a just believing christian, that never did anything else apart believe, to, praying every day , reading my bible and trying to build my faith . One thing that is true, everything that i pray for Hod has blessed me with. I have being trying so long to have a good relationship with my family. I started praying and trusting God and he has always delivered me. The key to praying is Faith. Trusting in God. Trusting for things that the eye can't see and God shall surely deliver you

I had to pause the video @6:47. I can not expressed how blessed I am to be a follower of Jesus Christ, and a daughter of God, as some who search hard, to change herself for the better. I just broke down, balling my eyes out. Because over the span of 2 months since I truly found God, He has changed me drastically. This has made me eternally Grateful.

Totally. A true wake up call. I just watched this and i wanna cry. I got a three too. I was feeling off but this helped me to see that i am not growing.
My 16 year old daughter was taken to the emergency room because of what her classmate had done to her. She cannot stand nor walk when I went to their school upon receiveng call from her adviser. I was very worried after I saw my daughter's condition but I can't help but think of the one who did that to her because he might not come to school anymore and his future might be ruined because of that unintentional incident. That's when I came to know that my love for my neighbor was becoming better and I thank God for that. Usually before I'm always thinking of myself and the hurts I had received and I always seek justice. May we all grow in love and share love!!!
Ultimately I feel like these points (and maybe more) show that spiritual growth has a lot to do with being selfless. Being selfless allows God to plant seeds that allow you to blossom from inside out. Nice video
I’m failing in a lot of these areas but growing in a few. God forgive me. It’s so hard to find even a quiet time to even think about anything as a single mom, working so much. There’s never enough time and/or energy. I’m so exhausted all the time and many times irritable with work and everything I’m going by myself that when I do have free time all I want to do is sleep or hang out with my son and his activities. My plate is so FULL, I need to pray for God to help me figure out how to balance it all or how to free me from having to do sooo much all the time. I just don’t know what to do. Y’all please pray for me.

Great question! We all face periods of ups & downs in our Christian life. It's upsetting to think that, but it happens to all of us at one point or another. Your own lifestyle can &will speak for itself. They will notice your spiritual growth, & at some point, hopefully, they will follow suit. Pray for them. Ask the Lord to convict them, & pray they draw close to Him.
Sean you need to remember you are a child of the almighty God.......Which means God is with you! Let the Holy Spirit guide you. Do not be afraid to share the "Good News." Revelations 3:17 16 Says, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. This means these lukewarm Christians need to know your message of Christ! They need to be on "fire" for the Lord!!! Share the Word!!
Yes you most definitely can... The Bible tells us whoare saved to stand up for the salvation of others... Represent Christ well, you are His ambassador amongst your lukewarm friends and the passion you have for Christ and the things of God will speak even burning until you have the boldness to tell them lovingly of course how Christ would have done something differently than they did and you are preaching already dearest 😍

when it was sunday i was so excited to go to church but mom couldn't come, so i didn't come even tho i feel dissapointed in myself so i am now excited because sunday is about to come, i am trying to go more to church so i xan build fellowship with teens my age
These are all such good indicators. I know I'm growing because I'm being tested. As I read more I am biting my knuckles knowing what difficulties I must face to be an actual believer/doer of Christ. This is difficult, but the Word or God is so clear. It's more clear than it has ever been to me and I can't wait for it to become even moreso.
Surprisedly I past the check list!! Cool 😎..I will continue to strive to do better as I grow..I'm eager to do God's will and my prayer life is getting better to the point I don't feel right if I don't pray..nor do I feel right if I'm not walking in his will..I noticed as I'm growing that the Lord is adding new lenses to his glasses he gave me so I can see the world and myself as "he" sees things and not as my flesh sees..it's incredible! This is quite interesting to me. Although it could be construed as a legalistic, behavior oriented approach, it does give some indicators. I have found that after many years of being involved in, serving in, and ministering in the evangelical church world, I have grown significantly more in every area you touched on, since I left that environment for a more grace oriented community. I am grateful for and appreciate my spiritual roots and have learned and taught a great deal of truth over the years but after seeing Father, Son and Spirit as pure love, as a healer and restorer rather than as a retributive and wrathful being, life has changed dramatically. I am living an abundant life instead of reading about it in scripture. God is very good, all the time.
On a lot of these, I'm definitely doing these. Some of these I am not. However, on the ones I'm not doing to my best ability, I can see Him pushing me in that direction.
Please pray for me! I'm not praying consistently, and I'm not reading the Bible as much as I used to.😥😭😞 I just really need my brothers and sisters to pray for me and ask the Lord to help me. I hope you are all doing well! 🙂

That happend to me but at some point when you hold on to God and stay with him. And go back to God every time is a good thing
So keep going but to God every time you fall cause Jesus will pick you back up

These are all such good indicators. I know I'm growing because I'm being tested. As I read more I am biting my knuckles knowing what difficulties I must face to be an actual believer/doer of Christ.
This is difficult, but the Word or God is so clear. It's more clear than it has ever been to me and I can't wait for it to become even moreso.

Surprisedly I past the check list!! Cool 😎..I will continue to strive to do better as I grow..I'm eager to do God's will and my prayer life is getting better to the point I don't feel right if I don't pray..nor do I feel right if I'm not walking in his will..I noticed as I'm growing that the Lord is adding new lenses to his glasses he gave me so I can see the world and myself as "he" sees things and not as my flesh sees..it's incredible! This is quite interesting to me. Although it could be construed as a legalistic, behavior oriented approach, it does give some indicators. I have found that after many years of being involved in, serving in, and ministering in the evangelical church world, I have grown significantly more in every area you touched on, since I left that environment for a more grace oriented community. I am grateful for and appreciate my spiritual roots and have learned and taught a great deal of truth over the years but after seeing Father, Son and Spirit as pure love, as a healer and restorer rather than as a retributive and wrathful being, life has changed dramatically. I am living an abundant life instead of reading about it in scripture. God is very good, all the time.
On a lot of these, I'm definitely doing these. Some of these I am not. However, on the ones I'm not doing to my best ability, I can see Him pushing me in that direction.
This video is very relevant to me right now in my spiritual journey. Thank you for this!
