Awesome. Thanks for letting me know. Luckily I was playing against the easy AI. Not sure I could have pulled that off on the harder levels. Thanks for watching!
I have this one on my shelf of shame, haha. Watching this made me want to dust it off and give it a try. Fun playthrough, and having watched some of your more recent videos, it's interesting to see how much your videos have improved in quality and production (although this one was already good).
Yeah, this was an early video and I was still figuring out many things. I came into this with zero experience and I still have so much to learn. Each video is a new struggle and I'm shocked everytime I'm able to finish one. :) I really appreciate your support, Sheldon.
I enjoy your videos as always and commented previously, I haven't read through all the comments but I think you may have botched your first AI move, being rapid deployment it takes the left most unit which was the two battleship. It says valid and given it is the first play of the game it pretty much means it will be absolutely valid. So then you go to the AI selection process and you are correct in picking the africa theatre as it has the most open positions. It can be validly placed in that campaign on any of the other three positions that have water. So going in AI selection process order, it is not the 1-propaganda space because it has no VPs, so the 3-strategic is next (as you said) but that is land and while the ship cannot "validly" go there, it is the still a unit that can validly go into any other space in that campaign. The next selection process is the research, so that is where the battleship-2 should have gone. I think you misinterpreted this because the rapid deployment specifically requires the first unit to be taken if it can based on other selection process rules which at the end of the day means effectively can it validly go into a theatre and campaign based on the AI selection process and the answer is yes. It does not mean it is the best possible position in that campaign because you have other AI tiles that will cover this. There is no point in the rapid deployment icon if you move onto the next unit in the row in the reserves for the AI. My understanding is that the valid text in this particular AI tile will become more apparent later in the game, for example when you do the selection process and only land positions remains and the first AI tile is a ship, in which case you then go to the left most valid unit such as an army or air force for that campaign. Other AI tiles exist to cover what you did with the spitfire, For example if you drew the guns AI symbol or the one that requires you to place the best unit in the best position on the campaign in the same manner as you chose the spitfire would result in the selection of the strategic 3 position. :-) Otherwise don't change a thing, really enjoy your videos.
Great video! Just one small suggestion: I found the music to be quite distracting. Perhaps it's just me but I wanted to say something just in case others felt the same. Maybe it could be a bit quieter? That would help. Or maybe it's just me and you can ignore this comment. 😀 Anyway, really enjoying your playthroughs, thanks for the content!
Thanks Sarah. Yeah, this was one of my earlier videos and I've been dialing in the music since then. In my recent videos the music is very very quiet and, hopefully, not distracting anymore. Sorry about that. One of the disadvantages of learning on the job. Thank you for your honest feedback. I always appreciate constructive criticism as my goal is to improve with each video. Thanks again!
Such a great two player game. The sequel Caeser looks great as well but I can't find a copy. 😔 When I get one I will definitely feature it on the channel. Thanks Sarah!
Thanks, Shaggy. Much better and more clear than other videos. I have to say though, there is no such word as "Prioritorized" :)
The same, music is too load in this one, but other than that, great video
A bombing win is definitely a legit win. Congrats!

Yes! This was indeed a unique win. Nevertheless, this was another great playthrough! Great job!
Yeah, that was a fun one. Easier to manipulate the AI in that way than a human player, but I'll take the win. They are few and far between! 😃

Thanks for this, learning the solo AI isn't the easiest and this really helped.
I'm so happy the video was helpful! Thanks for checking it out and I hope you have fun with the game!

@@TotallyTabled now that you mention it, I haven't noticed this in your other videos. Thanks for your response. Now I want to buy Blitzkrieg! 😊

No isn't just you. The music itself isn't bad ... was just loud enough to be distracting.
@@topgun5054 Yeah, sorry. This problem is solved in future videos. Thanks.
Thanks
You're welcome, Justin!
12:30 You just pick which unit to bomb? Is that a solo rule that differs from the two player rule?
Yes, the solo rules say the choice is yours. Thanks for watching!
