Good headset, I've had the Kraken V3 for a few months. The Hypersense is cool, only thing I wish it had was the retractable mic like the Kraken Ultimate.
My Razer Nari Ultimate just died, right side sounds like broken tire, too much dubstep kill my Ultimate. It is worth it 2 years of use and it broke. I will upgrade to those. I love haptic feedback "bass" is heaven for *NCS* musics.
did you get this in the end? any good? my Nari Ultimate has just died and love the dubstep bass on haptic too, wondering if still worth this or another haptic headset instead
@@jazzman2399 Those Headset had a bad clue inside. When headset heated those clue that holds wires move and accidentally make wires touch each other. I open it and remove bad clue(seriously they look like spider webs). Minimize the clue NOT get rid of it and put silica bag gel into the headset and carefully close it. I am very happy that I still have mine because it is descontinued product.
Question regarding the connectivity: Obviously it can be used wirelessly, but could it also be used like a wired headset using the Type C cable? so no wireless, just wired up to my PC?

Im about the purchase this Kraken V3 Pro but I got concern after watched some review videos on internet as people complain that there are some issues like it turns off itself suddenly or RGB not working. Is this issue still persist? or Razer updated somehow? I would appriciate any comments, thanks!
I have nari ultimate, tried to replace it for kraken v3 pro just for Nari having issue with mic interfering with haptics being a little too strong and mic build is not very suitable for it as how headset is shaking mic is rattling inside the hole and creates interference. This does not happen on kraken obviously as mic is detachable and built different way. However i had to stick with nari still and returned krakens back for refund as kraken v3 pro is full of issues, synapse crashing freezing, THX channel output loosing audio when sound is paused (luckily can be workaround by disabling thx within synapse so it wont mess with it), most important chargning issue - never fully charged and charging itself never ends, when replug it resets the whole process which is pretty dangerous as it is still just li-ion battery, volume imbalance when volume control wheel is at 50-75% volume - above and bellow it does not appear. Not to forget sometimes synapse not recognizing connected headset etc. Still not fixed though, had to create ticket to get through customer support lies finally to dev team saying its still not fixed, so i am waiting till i can buy it again once major issues are gone. edit: forgot to mention that went for RMA ... twice ... did not help obviously.
I had the same issue. As of 9/19/2022 it is still not fixed. Even after firmware update, the sound cuts out, THX Spatial is not working, and it is not charging to 100% even after a full day of charging. Very serious step back for Razer to release such a bad product. I do not recommend for anyone.

I'm currently on my second pair of these headphones, and in addition to volume imbalance (right channel is louder at 50-85% of the knob range), I hear static "white noise", when volume knob is around 85-100%. Previous pair also had this issue.
can anyone help me with my headset? I can't get it to stay connected. Every few hours the headset will turn off, with Synapse showing it to have low battery. However, while plugged in, the headset doesn't have any sound and the mic doesn't work either.
the main selling point is the haptic feedback. if you dont like it then dont use razer, imo just get a good pair of headphones that have good sound quality and a separate mic. most of the "gaming" headsets are mid. for the same price you can get a better headphone and better mic separately

I agree, although it was the best sounding one of the 6 headsets I bought/returned, the on ear volume wheel doesn’t work on ps5….my 16+year old turtle beach headset sounds twice as good, mic is better and has individual game volume and chat volume, they cost £30 when new.

i have the kraken v3 but i get random feedback noises....really bad crackling noise

you can change it in settings
How is the sound out of the box in wired and wireless?
wirelessly with the dongle is a bit better because it has the EQ settings and is louder too. 3.5mm works just fine though.
And just to add I mostly used this with out of the box settings, it's great 👍

Volume control wheel doesn’t work on ps5, has to be adjusted in the console settings. Very poor, considering it’s circa £120

Wait so Kraken v3 pro got less bass not so heavy hitting?
@@Shirouuu238 no bass is same/better in fact. The build difference is thing which makes it not interfering with the mic.

All looks good but yea the mic sucks. I'm using a $30 gaming headset with a built in mic and it sounds way better than that.

@@lilmeister44 im using the corsair hs60 haptic, no sound distortion, same quality mic and cheaper too. fuck razer honestly.
