Cool picture of you with Arnold by the way. What's interesting is that the ending was going to be different. Instead of a heart transplant John would have died and Marcus would have taken his face becoming the "new" John so that the legend would live on. It would have led into the next film but sadly that didn't happen. Having a trilogy that just took place in the future without any time travel would have been better than what we got. I do agree that it is the best sequel and it's sad Anton Yelchin died after Green Room when he was only 25 or so.

your rants remind me of the OCP Communications rants on that dior ROBOCOP REMAKE very FUNNY at times (incedentely I agree about the kyle Reece character, that actor carried this film throughout, from the moment we see him.

I saw this film opening night and while it was ok it really felt like a waste of time. Like every other film since T2. It looks ok and the characters are ok and the acting is ok. Everything is just ok. The best thing about it is that there isn't any time travel thank God. It's a tired franchise at this point and it only gets worse from here on out. It's like everything Hollywood makes now. Tired and old and riding off the fumes of better creators along with nostalgia. It's still enjoyable listening to you talk about it though.

This is the only good film after Judgement Day as it actually expanded the lore of the franchise.
It is the only one of the Terminator films after Judgement Day I enjoy. It focuses on the Future War, which is what the franchise should have done after T2. I love how it became more of a war film with chase elements instead of copying T2, like Rise Of The Machines, Genisys, and Dark Fate did. The Terminator (1984), T2-Judgement Day (1991), & Terminator-Salvation (2009) are the only ones worth owning and make a nice trilogy.
