Even though I didn't fully understand what he was talking about most of the time, he still definitely left an impression. It must have been his intensity and his look. Some of my earliest memories are watching wrestling, and Macho Man always stood out among the rest.

I remember being told wwf was stupid and not too watch it then when i finally saw it i was so impressed at how great they were at shouting dialogue and the clever writing and improvisation as wellas the amazing stunts.
They did it all at once live!
The best part was just before he threw the confetti, at 1;56 he almost lost it laughing, you could see him smile and stutter after he told the guy to sit down and shut up

Went to see him wrestle the Junkyard Dog in Florida with my best friend at the time, and the song "Bad Bad Leroy Brown," came on..."Badder than a whole King Kong. Meaner than a junkyard dog." To this day I wonder if that local disc jockey put that on the air on purpose.
He's one of my favorite wrestlers ever.
