  • Miniature Sushi | Polymer Clay Tutorial
Hey everyone, today I'll be making some cute miniature sushi, and you can't have sushi without the ginger and wasabi, all neatly placed on their very own wooden presentation board. And don't forget your chopsticks! If you want to see how I make all this and the many mistakes I made along the way, keep watching.
The type of clay used in this video is Sculpey, Craft, and Fimo. I use what’s available as most brands are similar to each other. Always follow your clay’s baking instructions on the package when making clay creations. I baked mine at 225 degrees in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Leave to cool before handling them as they are still soft and handling them may leave dents.
Tip: When shaping the clay, if you find that you are leaving a lot of fingerprints, you can use a q-tip and rubbing alcohol to wipe the surface of the clay clean.
If you have any questions just leave them in the comments below and I’ll be happy to answer them. Any suggestions on what you want to see next are always welcome too :)
Hope you have a great rest of your day!

Why do you have to cut the sushi after its baked. It just makes things harder.

Usually when you cut unbaked clay it squishes the shape and distorts the design. If I made it again I would put the unbaked clay in the freezer for 10-15 min then cut it before baking.
