@justarose Im also a hebrew speaker. I respect your opinion, but I disagree. I think it was super interesting they had biblical hebrew. Also, I'm pretty sure that the person who wrote those lyrics doesn't know modern hebrew (I could be wrong, sorry if I am!)
@@alixdied4713 K is Scottish and learned biblical Hebrew in her studies. It was a stretch to include it, but we thought it'd be neat to have a historical language in here, and it fits because the Art of War is in a historical version of a modern language (Chinese) too

Almost two years later, the VOICES echo even louder!
It's February 2024... feels like just yesterday I was blown away by the "VOICES" cover project. Two years fly by when you're busy making musical magic happen! And speaking of magic, did you see the new video by Jukeblocks that popped up on your feed? It's like a whole new level of awesome!
This project is a testament to the dedication and talent of everyone involved, especially the team behind Jukeblocks who wrangled all these amazing voices together. That's going to be some serious coordination! But hey, if it means bringing the world together through music, then you guys rock! (Literally, with those instruments!)
And you all did! Remember that original "VOICES" song by Derivakat with its many singers back in 2021? Well, this 2024 version is like a global upgrade! People from all over are chiming in with different languages, each phrase adding a new flavor to the mix. "World Language Cover" doesn't even do it justice -- it's a multilingual masterpiece! Those Chinese lyrics? And let's not forget the other languages, each one slaying in its own way. Plus, the visuals are top-notch, staying true to the original while adding some seriously cool effects. It's the ultimate tribute to Technoblade, and we can all feel the pride radiating from the screen.
Speaking of pride, I'm going to admit, I was secretly lurking on your Discord messages from the beginning, even though I didn't join in the production side. But let me tell you, watching this project come to life was an awesome experience! And now, getting to listen to the final product? Pure joy!

I'm a professionally trained choral singer, and I've sung in countless languages. Its so difficult to translate a song into a different language- let alone this many. This is genuinely so impressive, from the translation, editing, artwork, and voice balancing. I'm sure technoblade would have loved this cover, and appreciated all of the work so many talented people did. I hope whatever you all decide to next is just as successful. Technoblade never dies.

This is truly wonderful. The original is one of my favorite songs, and this surpases it. The Original sounds like the build up before the Blood God fights his hardest challenge. This sounds like the earth is long gone, and the last living creature from earth is about to singlehandedly destroy an entire alien civilization.

After hearing the Hebrew, I thought: this song reminds me of the Pentecost from the Bible...where Jesus' disciples receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and with it the ability to speak many languages, to spread the word of God globally. A good parallel if you ask me.

Conceptual and executions are exemplary for the art of what the original song convey thematically, amazing job ! Wow, I am floored and wasn't expecting french being actually sang in this. Also, fun trivia : ''Sang'' is blood in french but singing in English, strange how it compliments each other and the historic conflict between the two languages and somehow enhance the song when you know both languages well.
I HIGHLY Recommend overlaying the original and this together and listening to them both at the same time because it is EPIC and adds like a whole other layer to the voices in your head and they all sound so well together

all day i've been imagining a heavy metal version of voices by derivakat, this satiated that desire instead, i think a scream would've echoed perfectly underneath all that amp up in the end but i can do all that with my speaker at the highest volume, this is a wonderful song, made so much more lovely by the mixing of languages
