they only remove this sort of thing because there is genuinely damaging pro nazi content on TH-cam which I definitely think should be removed and the stupid moderators can't tell the difference, but a marching song nothing to do with Nazis shouldn't at all

They wouldn't send you! Youd probably be in the Spanish Blue Division.
@@ProP1e and you to the gallows
This is not a military song btw this is a folk song
Seeing this song liked by so many is very nice and unexpected, greetings from Westerwald in Germany
It is so good to hear this again !
Germans make the best songs
Thank you Derovolk, without your videos I would never listen to German music
My upload for another version of this Lied was just removed because it was 'glorifying or inciting violence against another person or group of people is not allowed on TH-cam'. Honestly don't know how to appeal it if they think that's case. Anything in German gets a strike it seems...
This song really made me get out of depression...thank you germany for existing without you i would still be in depression
Während meiner Grundausbildung voll bepackt mit Gerödelt und Ausrüstung im Januar 2010 immer wieder gesungen. Der tiefe Schnee war uns dann herzlich egal. Vielen Dank Rennerod!
Спасибо! Danke ! Thanks for the video !
I love the germans songs. From Brazil with love.🇧🇷🇩🇪
Never apologise for being German, my German brothers.
Much love and respect from India.

India is a great country. Landig on the moon shows the enduring genius of Indian mathematical science.
The ancient name of Germany was Teuta. Some say, it derives from the indo-germanic name of the Region of Teuta in northern India.
@@friederunverzagt8667 Thank you, my fellow human. I, as a nationalist, will always denounce the forced immigration in Germany (and Europe).
The liberal left (under the influence of Zionist Globalism) will always encourage it. Agenda 2030, the 45 goals of Communism, etc. are something very alarming towards the homogeneity of Europe now and later, the world.
Cant believe they took down the older video with the red lyrics, freaking insane
Germans had the best drip and the best music. How can they be the bad guys?
Don’t view it in black and white, not every German was a bad guy.
not every German was a bad guy, but it can't be denied that a lot of the country was very onboard with being a facist
Today we want to march
Heute wollen wir marschier'n,
Try a new march.
Einen neuen Marsch probier'n.
In the beautiful Westerwald,
In den schönen Westerwald,
Yes there the wind whistles so cold.
Ja da pfeift der Wind so kalt.
In the beautiful Westerwald,
In den schönen Westerwald,
Yes there the wind whistles so cold.
Ja da pfeift der Wind so kalt.
O you beautiful Westerwald,
O du schöner Westerwald,
the wind whistles so cold above your heights
über deine Höhen pfeift der Wind so kalt,
However, the smallest sunshine
Jedoch der kleinste Sonnenschein
Go deep into the heart.
Dringt tief in's Herz hinein.

And Gretel and Hans
Und die Gretel und der Hans
Like to go to the dance on Sundays,
Geh'n des Sonntags gern zum Tanz,
Because dancing is fun
Weil das Tanzen Freude macht
And the heart in the body laughs.
Und das Herz im Leibe lacht.
Because dancing is fun
Weil das Tanzen Freude macht

Is the dancing over then
Ist das Tanzen dann vorbei,
There is usually a brawl
Gibt es meist Keilerei
And the guy who's not happy about it
Und dem Bursch' den das nicht freut
If you say that he has no guts.
Sagt man nach der hat kein Schneid.
And the guy who's not happy about it

Let’s gooo, 1000th comment, this is a brilliant song. No cap

This is the good alternative for anyone who wants to enjoy Erika but doesn’t want to seem like a Nazi. This is still sung by the Bundeswher today, so sing on.
The Bundeswehr banned it in 2017 tho.
Isn't Erika... Older than Nazi, and a folk song rather than Wehrmacht-tailored song?
Bro the problem aren't the song but the supids that thinks that only because is German is Nazi
@@nebunezz_r no it was written and released by herms Niel
In 1938 4 years after Hitler became fuhrer so by this point Nazi Germany was already founded so no it's not older than the Nazi but it was not meant to be a marching song
Fun fact herms Niel was a member of the Nazi party joining in 1933
>implying being a nazi is a bad thing
Lol. Lmao even.
CHOWDAH PASS ME THE MG42
Ahoy Spongebob me boio I've been shot by a Nazi buzzsaw and I'm going to die arararg arararg

[Fun Fact] In diesem Lied geht es darum, in einem Wald zu marschieren.
This is not a nazi... Just a very patriotic song...
Why not both? 😎
@@AnnieGaming 😈😈😈
i dont hear any lyrics that base around fascism, so yes, this song is non-nazi
It's not even patriotic. It's a song about a forest.

Well done my man! Standing up to TH-cam censorship and it happened to me too! I did erika and the video was taking down but youtube put it back up as i complained it was history! So continue on!
It's still sung in the German army tho so I don't get why TH-cam would censor it
@@jba.9385 Because youtube has now become the equivalent of a 15 year old girl now with getting triggered for other people tbh.
@@mr.cat_boiof_soviet_russia5801 its cause TH-cam can't tell the difference between actual pro nazi content which should get taken down and a cute marching song that shouldn't
My favourite! We used to sing this during marches although being part of french army... 2REP, Calvi Corsica 86-91.
If anyone was wondering what they said at 1:46, its "Marmeladeneimer", which means jam bucket. From what I can tell, different renditions of the song use various 6 syllabul words in place of Eukalyptusbonbon. I've even heard a version that says "Rosa Damen Schlüpfer", which means pink womans panties lol. This particular version is by Gesungene Marschlieder, and has a much more lively upbeat.
Old Germans songs are much better than the newer ones
Can you do Funkerlied as well?
It seems that YT hates Funkerlied for some reason so thats unlikely
DAMNIT i want Funkerlied too
Well you got it
Derovolk did Funkerlied as well. Just check out the German songs playlist on his channel.
TH-cam should really stop being xenophobic towards Germany and it's great culture, especially it's beautiful songs about peace and love! It's disgusting seeing YT channels that promote gambling sites or flat out scams, and even those horrendous kids channels with garbage content; that should be regulated and flat out removed from this site.
TH-cam only wants money and will only keep up channels that give them the most money, no matter the content posted
they only remove this sort of thing because there is genuinely damaging pro nazi content on TH-cam which I definitely think should be removed and the stupid moderators can't tell the difference, but a marching song nothing to do with Nazis shouldn't at all
I served in the British army and did a 6 months attachment to a German Gebergs Division. I was very happy there. They operated so very similar to our own that I felf completely at home among them. I also served two years in Minden with my own Infantry Bn , definitely the happiest time of my life among very generous folk.
All this time I had never read the english lyrics, now this is truly an inspiration.
İ loved that so much. Greetings from Turkey ❤️🇩🇪
Great. Thanks from Germany to Türkiye
Amazing Song!
I'm not German but I love this song. When I listen this this gives me patriotic feeling for my country.
It makes me happy to hear that the National Songs of my People invoke patriotic Feelings in Foreigners.
