In Groin lyrics, the line "Not a fuckin' monk" is pretty interesting because RM is somehow dissing an actual monk 😂😂😂
For a long time, RM had the habit of going to the temple to find peace. He confided in private with a monk to relieve pressure (I think it's quite similar to going to church to ask for forgiveness). That monk not long ago revealed to the media what RM had privately confided to him.
Yup. The monk let the paparazzi know he was there, so there were even pictures of him coming there and then the monk gave an INTERVIEW to talk about what Namjoon told him…. I was so angry when it all came out

I think “get your ass out the trunk” means “stop riding my coattails” or “stop jumping on my bandwagon”, like lots of people are taking advantage of him (financially and otherwise), but at the end he says, if you want to be friends, normally, that’s cool, just don’t hang onto my coattails.

Also, “you walk like a duck, bitch” could be a reference to “if it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, it probably is a duck.”

7:02 I said it in the last video but maybe you didn't see, I really don't recommend you to watch ShadowByYoongi lyrics, they're very bad, lots of typos and just bad in general, sometimes feel like they put it in the Google translate or something instead of getting a reliable source!! Hope you can change the channel so you can understand more his lyrics, I didn't watch the album reaction yet but I'm sure you watched from this channel too which is shame, Namjoon's album is very lyric heavy and I feel like ShadowByYoongi doesn't show everything!!

About Namjoon talking about representing something or being a spokesperson for something bigger than himself, I immediately thought about their Yet to Come in Busan concert which BTS did for free to promote Korea in the 2030 World Expo. The govt borderline forced them to hold a concert for free and the original venue provided by the govt was a whole safety hazard. They ended up having to pay for a new venue out of pocket while the govt didn't do anything.
The breadwinner line is actually a mistranslation, the bangssang line is a slang for like "gibberish"! 😊

The conversation with Jimin about the Albu is really interesting. RM talks very openly about his feelings
The lyric videos had pretty bad and wrong translations at times making some lyrics even seem like the opposite of what he said.
Those lyric videos are often made in such a hurry to get the most views that they don't care much if the translations actually are accurate.
I really recommend you look the lyrics up either by reading/pausing the official MV's when watching it a second time or read lyrics sites like Doolset or just ask if someone know of an lyric video that actually has a good translation.

Hey guys, he’s not talking about drugs in lost. The cloud part I interpret it as death and being free once you’re going up to the clouds. He actually talks about the song and how he felt lost and this is the type of lost that he felt in minimoni video. I think you should watch that because the lyrics were kind of misleading and off in this case. Which might be on purpose to make the listener feel the lost that rm is feeling but it’s also because of the translation lyrics, that channel isn’t the best.

The video tells the story. This is just RM telling the story of his life. He feels lost, lonely, at times, perhaps because he is trapped in this super stardom. He feels alive, free just going to the club and hanging out, something he hasn't done before because like -- how could he? w/o a crazy situation. The video starts with a creepy show introducing him and he is lost in a maze trying to get out of this super stardom only to end up climbing up and ending up back on that show -- a star on the stage. The drug interpretation seems way way way off.
