Short video of my C6 Z06 for anyone considering to go with an LS7 BTR 4 cam and trying to get an idea of what the lope will sound like
List of mods:
Texas Speed Heads - Ported & milled w/BTR dual valve springs
1 7/8 long tube ARH / stock exhaust with "muffler mod"
Stage 4 BTR LS7 Cam
65lbs F.I.C injectors / E85 / stock fuel pump
Ported MSD intake manifold
Vararam Snake Charmer Intake
Nick Williams 102 Throttle Body
RPS Carbon Twin Disc Clutch

With a proper tune this car should get 30-34mpg highway. These cars from the factory got 35mpg, 4 mpg better than a Honda Accord.
@@MrPland1992 Good but not quite that good. In mine I get around 18 - 22 city and 28-32 highway, depending on how fast I'm going.

@@Jakalwarrior I had a c5 and got around 32 at 90 mph. Car damn near idled at that speed. You couldn’t even use 6th gear under 65-70. Most of my drive to school was a long stretch at 30 mph with no lights or stop signs. I’d put it in 4th and literally idle the whole way to school lol.

Just did a BTR-4 with AI heads, stock MSD intake, NW 102 tb, 2"ARH, catless X pipe, made 628/540 on pump gas 93 octane.
Awesome numbers what compression ratio did you go with?

That thing sounds sick man......thanks for posting. I'm in the process of picking out a cam for my red C6 Z06. Too many options out there, but that sounds badass. Have you dynoed to see what kind of HP increase you got from it?
Simon Roman thank you! And it was a fresh rebuilt motor so tuner wasn't wanting to take any risk and push it too hard on the first tune till I put some miles on it.... it had put down 583whp on dyno jet
But now should be seeing 600+ with advanced induction heads

Hey man, how much does it cost to have all that installed professionally? Also do you run into any issues with the tune or anything afterwards that requires more time/money? I'm curious if the car is still reliable. I've always loved cammed corvettes.
Only thing I ran into is my 335 radials would spin like crazy and I had to put 28/10.5 Hoosiers on the back LOL
I'm not sure what the current prices are I exchanged heads with them so I gave them a stock set they gave me a built set I don't have any problems with my tune another than it makes a ton of power! Lol

It sounds Nasty McFilthy? I’ve got almost the exact set up as you do! Rebuilt, ported/polished heads, AR headers, BTR stGe 3 cam, MSD intake, Nick Williams, 102mm TB, standard tranny with a Spec’s dual disk ceramic clutch, MGW shifter, and the tranny is currently being bulletproofed! Is your exhaust Corsa? I am wanting to go with Corsa. I love the way it sounds!

No. Muffler mod is taking out the fuse that allows the baffles to stay open all the time👍
Victor Perez actually... "muffler mod" is when the mufflers are removed and cut open and basically made into straight pipe by removing everything inside the mufflers ....
How's drivability with the btr 4? Would i hate myself drivin around the parking lot or is it good at low speeds too?
I guess it would depend on the tuner. Sixth gear is kind of useless now too with stock rear gears.

Sounds great! Every time i hear a BTR4 i miss mine! Went with a smaller cam due to drivability issues... Do you know how much you milled your heads to get the DCR back up? Thinking if that might help with the drivability since mine are stock heads.
Pierre Lundberg i have a stage 3 in the closet but thought about stepping up to the 4, was it that bad to drive?
@@Bledsaw89 Im sure if you add compression, and maybe switch to a MAP based tune, its going to act better than my MAF tune. But i cannot say, as drivability is very personal, some don't have an issue with the car being jerky at slow traffic or parking lots. But i don't know if stepping from a stage 3 which is a really nice cam, to a stage 4 is worth it. Then id consider switching to a Solid roller cam and lifters instead.

stock pump can handle e85 or do you have a BAP
Yes, stock pump can handle it, just need a Flex Fuel sensor and best to do injectors at the same time. Running something like a Walbro 450 pump wouldn't hurt though.
