I've heard a sound like that before, made with 60 Gb of samples, pushed to the limit PC hardware (in terms of latency) and some reverb.

I wouldn't say that we will "never" get a second season. It just got delayed because they wanted more material to work with. I would much rather wait and have a solid follow up then a weak one. Season 1 was such a huge hit that I highly doubt they will just drop it and never continue with another season.
i would agree with you if they didn't make attack on titan school stuff and a live action movie
The animation studio is waiting for more volumes of the manga to come out and that's up to how fast Hajime Isayama can put out material. Attack on Titan Junior High is written by a completely different person so the studios are animating shows based on what they have to work with at the moment. The same goes for the live action movie. Isayama consulted on the movie but he didn't make it. He's focusing on the main series, so those two properties aren't really relevant to the release date of season 2. Isayama is working on it so we all just have to be patient.
