In this video Rochelle is joined by Shar and her husband. Shar's white hair is thinning and she is looking for a solution to make her hair look fuller, while still looking extremely natural. Ro puts a few different toppers on her and shows her different ways to wear each one, from a braid, to ponytails, up-dos and more. The white color is a perfect match for Shar! She ends up loving a monofilament topper and Ro trims bangs into it for her. I started out thinking only my natural color but, that changed as I discovered, maple sugar, marble brown, creamy toffee, frosted tauppe, and sandy silver. They are all my colors of hair now depending on my day, what I'm wearing and my moof. My natural bio hair color is closet to iced mocha, it is a cool brown with blonde hiilights. with thinning hair, if hair is,a woman's crowning glory, then my wigs and pieces are the jewels.

That's so true! People don't seem to notice that I'm wearing my wig, especially when I first started wearing one. I would ask what they thought the first time I wore one, and they didn't notice until I asked what they thought and they said they just thought I had a new hairdo - and I had actual bald spots. Now that my own hair has grown longish, I will wear it in a bun on top of my head, like Granny Clampet as a friend said. But on Sundays, and when I go anywhere where I'm dressed up at all, I do wear one of my wigs.

And ..my dyed hair , right now, is a red color but many times I'll wear a blonde topper, Maybe "Nutmeg long top" over my own hair. Up or down no one questions my hair because so many gals are doing there own thing. Watch other gals around you. Many have 2 or more different colors in their hair. Love this brand of wigs so much.

I am from Ontario also. What a great video. I love how you try as many as she wants on. I was only allowed to try on 3 when I went to a shop in Northern Ontario. I couldn't make the best choice. They cut the labels off and wouldn't tell me the name of the wig either even after I paid for it. I am still soooo disappointed in that whole experience. The toppers look super on Char. I like moonlight the best on her. I should have had her bring me back Freedom. 🤗 Oh how I dream of hair!

Compared to MY fine, thinning hair, this woman has super-thick hair without the topper, so it's all relative. She is beautiful just the way she is, and the pieces just enhance it.

Ro, can a longer topper such as Taylor be used on hair shorter than it? My natural hair nearly comes to my shoulders & is on the thin side.
Yes, it can, just have it trimmed to your length - clients do that all the time (or their hairdresser) and here's a video where I did exactly that on a client with a Mono Long Top:

I own two of your long toppers in Expresso. One is regular and the other is mono. My hair is very dark and even though I purchased your darkest color, they are still just a little too light. Can I darken them with fabric dye? Will you ever have toppers available in black-brown (almost black)?
Hi Debbie, you can try using a 'rinse' to darken them. Just don't rinse it out or the color will go out with the rinse. I cannot guarantee it will work, maybe test a little piece on th bottom back. At this time, we have no plans to go darker - sorry. xo Ro

I have a feeling that will be coming. Right now, we do offer the Long Top and Mono Long Tops in white and bangs can easily be trimmed. I just finished a video yesterday and trimmed bangs.

Love the Long top. It's so versatile. Shar also looked beautiful in the other colour. Looking forward to seeing upcoming videos of Shar in wigs. Question: when you put hair up with clip are you grabbing onto the hair/piece only or the cap as well?
For thin fine slippery hair a thicker piece of rubber in the clip would be ideal.
Hi Patti, FYI - all of our Toppers have metal clips with the rubber in them; they're the best to secure, I agree! Also, when I clip hair up with a big clip, if it's on a Topper, there's no way to clip to the fabric - so I just clip it onto the hair. If it's a wig, I will sometimes clip to the wig where the wefts are for extra security. But the clips hold great on the hair...Hope that answers your question.

If the cowlick is at the crown, a topper will cover it, otherwise, a wig if it bothers you that much1 xo Ro

Hi User - a topper won't work on short hair unless its a short hair topper to give extra lift to your crown - with a long hair topper, you'll see right through it. Our wigs would be perfect for you and with short hair it's so fast and easy. xo Ro

Well you did it again Rochelle. Chat was a beautiful candidate for matching her up with a hairpiece. She is very sweet and just so beautiful she really would look good in anything. My gosh, Shar has the hair I always dreamed of having, and the courage to keep her snowy lock LONG! Even before you begin gilding that lily she's magnificent. Her husband, Winston, is a great-looking , right-thinking guy too. I love seeing spousal support. The white is stunning, but I'm also enchanted by the Moonlight on her too. When faced with a choice like that my solution, as you already know, is BOTH!
How fast can you get ready with wigs and hairpieces? My makeup takes 10 minutes. My "hair" takes three.

She looks great in everything! Such a gorgeous woman -- inside and out. The long white was a perfect choice. However, the medium length white looked great too, even without styling it up. To me, when wearing it down, it looked like beautiful layers. It's hard for me to find a matching color, and I'm not about to change the shade of my platinum bio hair. The white shade and medium style might work perfectly for me. Thanks for sharing!

I was thinking she looked like Lady Godiva with the long white topper and then she said it. Pretty ladies. I'm 60 and want a wig. I've been looking at Godiva wigs for a long time but I like long hair but I don't like the dark roots and I need a large cap wig. I love Brooke and Faye wigs but they don't come in the large size.

It finally arrived “ Tis the season “ . I pulled her out and shook her . My dog Arty was pretty sure I just got a new toy for him , lol 😂. I’ve played with it with a dog whining at the bathroom doorway . I’m also going to go to salon , my gal said she’d help me with any thing else , trimming and all .
Put the dog outside and both senior kitties were on the bathroom counter supervising my different styling techniques . It’s so much hair ! I’ve never had so much hair to play with and I really love it . I have lupus and a lot of hair loss and thinning . I’m seeing where a wig is my next fun adventure 💜

As soon as you appeared, I thought, dang her hair looks good today!😊 Hi Winston, thank you for bringing Shar to Godiva's so we can enjoy seeing her modeling! It takes me about 2 minutes to fix my hair and that's for a fussier day when I'm just fiddling with my hair more. By the way, most people aren't expecting someone to be wearing a wig and almost no one will know you have anything on, piece or full wig. They'll never know and who cares if they do?! @@GodivasSecretWigs Thank you, that's kind of you to say. You and Danielle are very positive and encouraging in your videos and that always lifts my spirits.
By the way, I was wondering, do you have a video out or would you be able to discuss how to assess a wig to determine if it should be sent out to pasture or if it still looks pretty good but probably best to wear a little less frequently. Does that make sense? A few of mine are 2 years old and when I look at them, they look okay but I can't get anyone to tell me if they are looking wiggy or worn, the only down side to people not noticing. My eyesight isn't great and sometimes I'd swear there are gray hairs and it makes me wonder if I have I worn out the color or what. Any help would be appreciated.
