    This video is Part 1/2 of an C151Adv Special: Turning Point of SMRT’s Train Fleet?
    The remaining 3 Siemens (SIE) C651 and 2 Kawasaki Nippon Sharyo (KNS) C751B trains have been moved into Tuas West Depot (TWD) on 30th September 2024, and they were never to be seen running again ever since. If the next course of action is decommissioning, the current North-South East-West Line (NSEWL) would only have 4 remaining operational train models. This is part of efforts to decommission SMRT’s first 3-generation trains that started in 2020 till 2026, and introduce newer Alstom R151 trains to replace them. Could this be the end for the 2 train models? This video was made compiling the recent clips I filmed for the two train models.
