Black is a Beautiful Fedora Hat, because it is Good for Wedding's and Funerals !
You wouldn't need to keep changing the Colour for the Occasion.
P.S. l see your Gold stripe on the Bow 🎀 ribbon knot as a Hufvud trade mark, While other Hatter's sell a Hat Pin of the Maker's trade Mark, l see the Gold Stripe in this same manner !
I don't know anybody else who does that extra to their Hat's

    I love your work!
Did you make your own hatblock or did you have to find them? Theyre very 1930s style millinery and ive had no luck ever finding those.

I’m curious how a Beaver-Blend hat is different than other hats that have a mixture of rabbit and beaver but don’t describe it as a blend. Could you help me understand the difference? Thanks.

Let's see if I can understand your question correctly. Best way to explain is the way Beaver and Rabbit hair strands are under a microscope. The difference is in the design. Beaver hair looks like it has tiny hooks that latch on to each other and creates a very strong bond. 100% Beaver becomes very dense and strong because of this. The more beaver content, the stronger the felt.
The felt also becomes more breathable with more beaver fur. In the past, the meaning of blend has been a bit of a secret. Western hats have long have the 3X, 4X, 7X etc. The content of the beaver fur has been a secret and has changed over the years. A 4X Beaver hat made today is not the same as a 4X Beaver hat from 70 years ago. A dense felt becomes easier to handle when crafting a hat.
The shape will maintain longer in a beaver hat than in a rabbit fur hat. Purchasing a beaver fur hat is considered an investment as the felt can be reshaped and the hat remade long after the leather sweatband or cotton ribbon has withered away. A hat that will last through generations, fit for a legend.
