    Brilliant, short, straight to the point, no BS, if only everyone did their videos like this.

    Just love this pic and the detail of the dry cracks in the sand.

    Hi Michael, Your tutorials have been very helpful to me as I am just about to try some astro shots. Thank you very much.

    Hi Michael. Your tutorials are some of my favorites and I do hope you make more of them. Incorporating flash into a panorama shot to illuminate foreground is a different and clever approach . I am curious about your flash settings cause whenever I attempt to use any type of artificial lighting with high iso I get overexposed parts on/around the illuminated object. Would you tell a bit about the flash firing mode and the power of flash setting please?

    Wow, I am trying to figure something out. If you shot yourself it must have been at a quicker shutter speed to keep it in focus but in doing that how do you then go to a 15 or 25 second shot for the rest without drastically affecting the overall color. I tried this and I put my shutter at .5 seconds for the self portrait but was unable to balance it out merging with other shots. I think I am missing something from the equation. I will be shooting milky way for the first time in about 10 days and need some extra skills quick:) Really breath taking images.

    so during each 30 second exposure, the only light you have on the foreground is that flash firing once???? very interesting. is that gonna also help freeze the person you're trying to shoot ?

      +Ramtin Kazemi yes - fires only once. Freezing however - I still stay standing for the exposure of that single image. Otherwise - unless the surrounding is completely dark, there would still be a ghost burn in from the ambient light.

    what stitching mode do you use ? i.e cylindrical, sterographic etc

    • @michaelgoh2884
      @michaelgoh2884  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +IamMotionMedia it varies - but the majority of the "normal" milky way panorama's I use stereographic

    How did you get the intro title ground effect to look like that?

      this one? 500px.com/photo/115457545/exploring-the-great-expanse-by-michael-goh?ctx_page=1&from=user&user_id=124855 - I was standing in a salt lake - the water is only a few inches deep so the stars on a very calm night reflect off it
