Just wanted to add ECU Joondalup has a fantastic student village accommodation located next to the Police academy and a regular CAT bus service currently running on electric buses which connects students to Joondalup train station. In summer the telethon outdoor community cinema runs under the pine trees next to Edith Cowans old house up untill April every year.
Hey Brother Thanks for the information and the video of the campus. Can you please mention your thoughts on doing banking and finance in ECU ? Hows the campus for this particular course should i need to check on other universities other than ECU? Hoping for the reply. Thank you in advance 😊
Hey, firstly I wanted to say thank you for your wonderful effort at helping students learn more about australian universities throughout the nation. Secondly, is a bachelors in physics well known at ECU? Because I'm currently wondering if I should apply there for it or not.
I'm not super well versed in physics at ECU, but I did a little research and found this article helpful - maybe you've already seen it? physics.ecu.edu/physics-at-ecu/ I also like to understand what specialities a department has, and whether it aligns with my own interests. This article explains those specialities at ECU.
I had a Quick Look at it. Looks like an interesting program - fairly broad covering a wide range of aviation topics, rather than niching into one area.
Two strong universities. Not sure off hand which has the stronger cyber program but it's a great choice of discipline - future focused and heaps of work.
Placement is critical for cybersec so that'll be something to check out. Maybe also look into accreditation and the individual units to see what you learn at either uni
Hi I'm from philippines. May I ask how is the culture study in ECU . Im planning to become international student Im done bachelor in mechanical engineering in philippines its super hard. Then my agent is making me choose what course should i take. Engineering or Nursing. Btw I need this courses for PR pathway
I think Nursing is a safer bet for PR, but I'm not a migration agent so I please do your own research on that. ECU is a great uni - excellent academic programs, chilled campus. It's a bit outside the centre of Perth but they are also building a campus in the city centre.
Hey brother How is ECU for masters in supply chain management and logistics is it worth and are there any parttime jobs available nearby!? Im coming in 2024 feb intake
ECU rates really high for teaching. One of the best in the country. Business is a good discipline. The uni building a new campus right near the CBD, so for work it will depend if you’re there or at the main Joondalup campus. GREAT choice of city - my favourite, along with Brisbane, for students.
Pretty heartless uni, will share some personal things in hopes that this doesnt happen to anyone else. If you have a mental health condition change medication during or a week after the term fee dates or anything which you might have to get hospitalised for. They wont refund even if its extenuating circumstances which i was unlucky with. I had to withdraw from the whole term due to psychotic depression from an adverse reaction to a withdrawal of medication for the first time in my life. They offered an extention of a week or two, but there wasn't understanding of conditions like this don't just clear up in a week and that writing an essay when your experiening psychosis and suicidal at the same time is impossible anyway so the extention useless 🤦🏽. I needed to pull out of whole term to give time to recover. I got letters from my psychiatrist, clinical psychologist and my doctor and they said my claim didnt have enough sufficient evidence?? And that it was a foreseeable thing? ( A condition i'd never had before foreseeable?) Psychatrist did not expect it either? I also had to withdraw from my work for 5 weeks, and even when i went back to work was still not 100 percent for another 2 months. psychiatrist said it was the worst withdrawal he had seen in his whole career from lithium ( there were a lot of other symptoms i got not listed too) . In the end i gave in trying to reapply becasue im sure how else i could prove it more than i already did and it was causing me added stress and at that point getting well had to take priority over money. Vowed never to go back to such an uncaring institution. The silly thing was i could have pulled out from that term and started in another term in the year when well. And completed the whole course with them and they would have had all my money for the whole course! but because this was my experience at the beginning of the course i was like wow they really dont care about me at all or offer extra support or if i live or die. I was just a money bag to them. Lost 7+ grand for stress and learning nothing. Thanks ECU.

ECU has a good business program. I’d also have a look at UWA and Curtin for those.
